KFC — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

It took ONE HOUR to get food for 2 people!! We originally waited 20 mins & spoke up. They had forgot our order, okay, no big deal. They apologized and said it would take another 10 mins for fresh chicken, so we waited. Tbey gave us a free cake, that was nice. Then we waited again, 10 mins... 20 mins... now we have waited 40 mins, this is beyond ridiculous! So turns out the food was ready, but no one remembered to actually give it to us. I am a very patient person, but this was just the beginning. The lobby was filthy, all tables had food & boxes on them, we actually had to clean off our own table to sit at. The worst part... there was 1 young man working very hard, while 5 others where jacking around and not working. I am totally appalled by the unprofessional behaviors & lack of leadership that I just experienced. Arrived 8:15pm, left at 9:30pm. Upon leaving, several of them... still working... were huddled around a black SUV outside smoking pot. Where was the f** manger? He was inside, hiding in the office, literally wouldn't say one word to us about any of the stuff going on. It's not these kid's fault because they are allowed to get away with this... that manager should be gone. They need leadership & need to be held accountable. I'll stick to Popeye's for chicken...

We went to this KFC just to get some coleslaw. Went through the drive thru and ordered it. Got up to the window and the guy told my husband it was $5.66 My husband handed the man $10.66 So we should have gotten $5 back. I the hands my husband $4.90 When we try and tell the guy he gave us the wrong amount, he proceeds to tell us that he punched $5.55 in the computer. My husband tells him that he wants his dime back and the guy tells him no that he gave him the right amount of money. My husband shows him on the receipt, how much it was and that he handed $10.66 so he should have a $5 back. The guy argues with my husband then when my husband asks for a manager, he said he was the manager! Finally the guy took the money back and when my husband went to hand him the change the guy pulled his hand away which made the change fall on the ground. My husband had to more the car and got out to get the change. The guy handed my husband the $5 and we left. If you can not do math then you should find a different job where you don't have to deal with money. This guy could have handled this so definitely. After we got home, the coleslaw tasted horrible. Will never go back to...

Freezing cold weather - Went thru the drive-way and ordered a bucket of crispy chicken and family mashed potatoes with extra gravy. When I got home there was no extra gravy and the chicken - YUCH!!! It was so burnt that the skin cracked into a million pieces when you pulled it off the chicken and the actual chicken was a dark dark brown color from the dry unable to eat burned product. I called thinking they may want to take care of this for me and the Manager said it was not possible - she had the same cook for 8 years and was not willing to refund the $29.00 dollar order, or even replace it for that matter!! She said I could get back out into the cold and get the extra gravy which of course I didn't do - the chicken had already been thrown out (P.S. mu dogs couldn't even eat it because it was so dry and inedible) Instead of the 3 minute drive to KFC on Broadway I will always now make the 10 mile drive to Madison Avenue KFC where they do take care of a problem if there is one and their Employees are smart enough to do the right thing rather than make their Customers feel like they are the problem - not the actual illiterate Employees/Managers that ARE...
