I pulled into Burger King around 1:30 on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. Based upon my previous experiences here, this was my first mistake.
But it had been a while since I had been here and there were no cars in the drive-thru line and only one truck in the parking lot. So I parked and called my wife to see if she wanted anything. After the call I pulled into the drive-thru and there were still no other cars in the drive-thru. Everything started great. I placed my order. Bacon cheesburger, fries and frozen Coke for my wife. 2 double cheeseburgers and 8 piece nugget for me. Friendly and helpful customer service. Pleasant surprise. This is not always the case here.
I pulled up to the second window, waited a moment and paid a $20 for a $16.97 order. Guy in the window was friendly enough. He gave me my change, passed me my food and I was on my way. My second mistake was not checking to make sure my order was correct. It seems to be 50/50 anymore regardless what fast-food place that it will be 100% correct so I usually pull-up and check the bag before leaving.
The last time I was here, I was missing something from the order and had to go in to get it. When I went up to the counter I was at first ignored , then greeted rudely "What do you want?" by the manager. I let her know I wanted the burger I ordered. She acted as if I had done something wrong and looked through my bag to make sure it wasn't hiding in there. She then grabbed a burger and dropped in the bag. Not a word. Not a polite "sorry about that" or anything.
Anyway, I drove about 10 minutes home, got in, opened the bag and found my wife's burger was missing. I checked the reciept and I did pay for it. I called the local number on the receipt three times over the course of an hour and let it ring each time until an automated voice told me "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable, goodbye."
So I gave my wife my other burger since I didn't like feel like driving back and forth again to dispute the missing burger. I just decided I won't be back and figured I'd let others know of the issues here.
I see I'm not the first who has had recent problems at this location. I see there are no responses from management to any of these bad reviews either. That's the problem here. No management. I have no problem with the dude that took my order and gave me my order even though it is his lack of attention that left me short one burger and a few dollars. He's not getting paid enough to gaf.
My problem is that nobody answered the phone and this place has repeated issues that aren't being addressed. My problem is with Restaurant Brands International (RBI) that purchased Carrols LLC last year and owns the Burger King brand. My problem is with whoever the franchisee is that is leasing this location from RBI. My problem is with the GM that is getting paid by the franchisee and is supposed to be managing this location.
They all owe me money!
Lastly, my problem is with myself for choosing to eat crappy fast food (it's all crap) in the first place and return to give money to a place I have had problems with...
Read moreThis moment at this Burger King included rudeness, cold food (after waiting for a long while) terribly calibrated coke out of both nozzles-anybody for CO2 beverage in a cup with carmel color? I say bring on those free refills! A supervisor was having a meeting at a table very close to us and darn it neither was using their library/ indoor voice. Front seat to every problem at that store with low end food znd the ketchup dispenser wasn't working right but, considering overhearing the meeting the ketchup dispenser is one of the higher functioning things in the store, be it machine or person. About 1/2 jar of mayo on my sandwich with the triple threat over ripen "delightfully" slimly and smelly. onions. The special treath a real possible tooth breaker the tomato slice had the hard greenish white center still in it. Had I not checked the appearence and wiped away a lot of the mayo and tore the center out of the tomato I would be hanging in life with 1 or 2 broken/chip teeth. And thank God it was a junior whopper a larger one would have been abuse! So, not so fast food, poor employee morale, and people not showing up etc. insider info from managers meeting free of charge left me throwing away most of my meal. And they ask why there is so much food being wasted and in landfill🤷♀️🙋♀️i...
Read moreVery aggressive customer service, repeatedly asking me if I was sure I didn't want anything else. Slammed the window doors open/shut and yelled his greeting to us. We could hear him calling him the burger king and asking employees their age. Then we get handed our food and it comes out like this. I'm a red head so I know none of the hair on my medium halfsies that came out of the bag that way is mine. So that was $4 wasted because the dude at the window is racist. How about instead of asking us repeatedly if we're sure we got everything we wanted, you actually check the quality and temp of the food. That's your whole job at the window 😅. Definitely didn't appreciate being yelled at even if it was a greeting and then aggressively asking me multiple times if I was sure I got everything I wanted. Im a bubbly nice person that overly thanks so I did nothing to warrant this experience. Only thing I can come up with is we're white and he was black :/. I love all people and didn't do a damn thing to him in the very short interaction I had. Hope attention is brought to the individual and they develop more professionalism. Definitely don't feel safe coming back or eating their food. I don't want coupons, I want that location...
