Subway — Restaurant in Coventry

I went to get 2 foot long sandwiches an egg sandwich and an Italian sub. They told me they did not have enough eggs to make a footlong. So then I asked for a chicken wrap and they said they were out of wraps too. I asked for a steak and cheese and when they went to ring me up at the counter they said my coupon did not apply to those sandwiches. I was not planning on spending $23.95 on lunch and would like the rest of my money back. This not the 1st time I have been here and they told me they are out of eggs. I have been multiple times and they never have enough eggs to make a footlong no matter if I go when they open or not. Where do they go and why don’t they have any wraps? I even went 1 hour after they opened a little after 9:00 AM one time to get a sandwich and the door was locked. So I looked in the window and the girl at the counter is playing on her phone and she looked up and saw me standing at the door but would not unlock it. So I knocked on the window and she still would not unlock it. Then I called the restaurant and she did not pick up the phone. I will never be returning to this subway location. My experience at this location is ALWAYS disappointing. I ordered the number 16 with Italian herbs and cheese bread. The bread was so stale it felt like biting into a rock. This location consistently disappoints, and I can’t understand why the quality is always so poor. The lack of care in food preparation makes me regret ordering from here every time. I don’t own a car, so walking back to the restaurant to have my sandwich remade wasn’t an option, especially with the extreme heat that day. It was simply too inconvenient to make the trip again. Unfortunately, this location always seems to get something wrong with my order, no matter how many chances I give them.

To make things worse, they crammed two sandwiches into one bag. On my way home, the bag ripped open in the heat, and my sandwiches fell to the ground. I’m so tired of not getting my money’s worth here. While I appreciate the acceptance of certain coupons, the staff needs better training to consistently deliver quality food. It’s frustrating that this location doesn’t seem to care about putting out a good product. If they did, I’d happily be a regular customer. Sadly, the constant poor quality just makes me want to avoid this...

I have to say everyone who works at this location can make an above average sandwich, so i come here often. But the problem with this specific Subway is the service is VERY dependent on the worker. The cute skinny bleach blonde girl, racially ambiguous boy with the eyebrow piercing, and chunky dark haired girl with glasses all tend to go above and beyond when helping customers. However other workers do not share the same work ethic; ESPECIALLY the little brunette girl with an attitude problem. She makes me repeat myself 100 times because she has an earphone in and somehow i’m the problem??🙄🙄 Very frustrating. Some of the other workers may lack personality but atleast they don’t make me feel like a nuisance.
