Silver Lake Pizza-COVENTRY STORE — Restaurant in Coventry

During this pandemic we wanted to give buisness to a company we have never used before. Hoping for a good experience and good food is all I expected. They told us the food would take 15 to 20 minutes. I left my house 10 minutes later to go pick up the food. 1st issue is they never took a name for the food which seemed weird. Usually you put a name to the order to get it right. I waited and waited for the food that seemed would never come. I asked one time about my order and you could see the woman was flustered and a little frustrated. Seems like this isn't the job for her. She was incredibly unprofessional. I've been in sales for almost 30 years and have never been so insulted by anyone before. She said we are very busy as I knew that. People came and went with their orders but still I haven't gotten mine yet. She then pointed at me 1 minutes and the 10 minutes later she did it again. I waited a few more minutes to give them a chance to catch up. Still no food. So I went to the counter to ask and she said we are busy and then just kicked me out. I said nothing mean and was very calm until that point. Very frustrating. All I wanted was to give a local business some busines.1st experience and last time I go there ever again. I'm sure the food sucked anyway. Sad!! Also none of the employees were wearing masks or gloves to protect us for their disgustingness. Not very sanitized. I'll tell all my friends and neighbors that this place it a mess and should never go eat at here! Just ordered Twisted pizza. Delivering and delicious as always. Never should have tried any place else. Very professional everytime...

Sharing my HORRIBLE experience 2 days ago at this place, because noone should ever be treated like this. I walked up to register to order. I was the only customer in this very tiny and old pizza joint. I said, "HI", to the lady behind the counter. She didn't look at me, completely ignored me. So, I stood there and waited. Then she walked right by me, still ignoring me. I finally said, Are you going to waite on me?". She finally looked at me with this stone cold face and said, "I'm busy!"........Can you believe this? I immediately left. Then I found out she was part owner! Looking at other reviews, I see that other customers were treated extremely rude here. They really need to shut the business down. I ordered 3 orders of fish & chips from here (had gotten them before) the fish was extremely small (especially for the price). I called the restaurant immediately when I opened the order and I answer I got was “that’s the size today.” When I explained that I had never gotten such a small order of fish I received “ well that’s what today’s is” I called the next day left my name and # for the owner since I was told she wasn’t in... no return call. Called again and again no calls back. I could have ordered my fish & chips from the business right next door to them for a MUCH bigger portion at a better price but I wanted to continue to support a mom & pop place.
