McDonald's — Restaurant in Covington

my daughter had a friend spend the night last, they wanted McDonald's this morning, so we go. we order our food two six piece chicken nuggets two value fry, McDouble & value fry my , oldest daughter wanted a Big Mac meal, total was $40? I asked the girl at the window why so high," or if it would save me few bucks to make it a kids meal?. she just stared at me, proceeded to shut the order window, turn around and talk to a girl preparing drinks. That girl persisted in hand throw / toss my kids' drinks in my hand as to act like this was an accident, as they hit the ground, then got mad like it was my fault. She told me to pull forward stormed away. I dont understand what the management is teaching their staff, but wow, they need to learn some customer service and respect . not to get mad if someone asks a question about price or ? Asking a question on how to save a couple of bucks seems normal. People don't like to say anything due to being a small town, but rude service, for asking a question is uncalled for, We do not go there very much as it is, lately its nothing more than a high priced visit. We placed an online order Got to McDonald's in Covington Indiana We hit the button to check in it said to please pull up or come inside to get your order and the money was taken off my card for this order We get to the window and we're told that we cannot have our food because there is no order placed although we have our order on our phone showing the manager which was very rude and she would not give us our food or our money back and tried to tell us that The money that was taken from my account is pending although we showed her it is not pending it was actually taken out of our account and still refused to fill my order I will never ever again go back there and be treated that way. I've hesitated to write a review on this McDonald's location in order to give management the opportunity to work the bugs out that naturally come with a new store. Enough, however is enough! This location continues to be plagued with broken equipment, particularly the Smoothie and Shake machines. It has gotten so bad that I normally call in advance to see if the machines are working. Tonight, Saturday at 7:40 p.m., the drive-thru line was extremely long and not moving. I noticed that the second lane was closed and blocked by a cone. After 10 minutes of sitting still, I decided to get out of line and go inside. It was 7:50 and the doors were locked. I truly feel sorry for the employees. The store is clearly understaffed and I'm sure the staff that is working suffers from the wrath of fed up customers. I guess it's back to Arby's...
