I am having a very difficult time writing this review, and I sincerely hope that it is not in vain. I do NOT like complaining, I usually just forget the bad stuff at a restaurant so that I do not have get upset, especially in the morning when the day is just starting, or I am just starting, but truly I realize that the trouble I am having at this specific location, Hwy 25 in Covington, is not because of the food, or the atmosphere, nor even all of the employees. It's one young lady that must have a learning disability, or I don't know and would prefer to keep speculations to myself, because I do not know anything about her, nor anything about her life. Please, please understand, this is not to be mean, or ugly and I hope that the difficult time I am having writing this, is hopefully obvious.
I have come to this location many, many times, over the past 6-8 months. When it is during breakfast, only, is when the complications happen. I make my order from the app. When I arrive, I have already paid and received the notification verifying it has been received, it thanks me, and gives me my code#, and my name along with that code is printed on the receipt. The order is made for drive through, as it always is regardless if I am retrieving breakfast, or lunch. This location is never for dinner as I live in another city. I work in this area.
Again, breakfast is the ONLY time there is any difficulty whatsoever. Without fail, I wind up having to park, get out and go in, and politely speak to this young lady, as she knows that I am on my way inside and she seems to want to greet me to continue her behavior, which, and again I do not know this lady's life, but she seems to want to provoke some kind of negative banter. In the drive through she has trouble locating my order on her register and the completion of my order that every single time is sitting in the bag, on the heat pick up station, clearly marked on the bag. Her and repeat everything, code #, name, location, am I sure it drive through, and am I sure it is for Hwy.25, 3-4 times.
When I come inside she does and repeats the same thing. I show her my phone, I point to the completed order sitting there and she continues either pretending to be confused and trying to figure it out, while my food is getting cold. After several minutes, someone from the kitchen comes up and ask if my order is, and most often it is, Oatmeal. I answer yes it is thank you, they hand me my bag of food with the receipt attached to the top of the bag, clearly marked and not fading, nor too light in ink.
I just do not understand why this individual behaves like she does. I have even stopped coming here so often and used the Burger King, Wendy's, or Taco Hell write there close to your Hwy 25 store. Displinary action, I am confident has been exhausted. She is not improving. Can someone please rectify this issue without terminating her. Maybe just try her in another position. I have carefully excluded her name, but I am very confident the management is aware of who they have in the...
Read moreThe other day someone was too busy talking to get my order right or even give me the right food.didnt even ask if I wanted a receipt just paid and closed the window and walked away talking. I was giving the wrong breakfast sandwich which would have been fine except it had the smallest piece of bacon on it ever. I called and was told to go in the next morning snd they'd fix it. I gave them my name and proceeded to wait 15 minutes for a single sandwich. The girl that had messed it up the day before was talking at the counter with a friend before they walked outside, I never saw the manager again except for when I gave her my name and told her I was told to come on. It took an employee that looked like they just came in to start their shift to see me on his way in, ask what I needed (a single sandwich they made to fix their own mistake), and go to the back where it was sitting by the bags. He grabbed it and bagged it for me immediately and I was on my way. But i dont know how long it had been sitting there, and i was late to work because it took 15 minutes for them to fix an error they made the day before. Maybe if they're AM employees would focus more on customer service instead of talking to their friends then this place could be considered fast food. But until then I can't recommend going through mcdonalds in the morning. I remembered over the past two days of this experience why I always went to burger King just across the road from them. Never that busy, employees don't ignore you, morning orders are correct, and burgerking will take less than 10 minutes. Mcdonalds? You'll be lucky to get a receipt to prove they messed up your order. Good luck...
Read moreIf you want to guess what cold food your going to get and may as well not bothering to even order, just say give me what you going to give me if I order or not and I'll save the time and voice. And you can almost the next sentence out of tou mouth may as well be "sure I'll pull into the 1 space and start a homestead while waiting for you to trow my cold disgusting burgers together fresh from the greasy tile, straight from a game of kitchen hocky. And if that's not a great time, the rude kids or 45year old freshly thinking about trying to get sober after wasting every dollar they ever made on drugs and partying, act like you should be bowing down amd giving praise to them for getting their last but off mom's couch watching her TV and playing on their phones, totally free from the inconvenience of working and having their own place and vehicle ect. A lot of Mc Donald's have gotten nice, clean, and halfway competent, this one missed that memo.... welcome to...
