This place has pretty good tea; I haven't tried the coffee yet and didn't try any baked goods. The staff is very friendly.

Their decor has great character: the furniture is funky and it does not feel like your average corporate coffee shop. Fits right in with the vibe of Ritte's Corner. It's a large place, with more seating in the back and a patio too.

The ambiance was spoiled by the loud music and my guest was quite uncomfortable. We couldn't hold a conversation. The lighting is dim in the back, which could have been relaxing in a quieter environment.

I would bring out of town guests here for the unique experience, as long as they aren't hard of hearing and don't have low vision. If these things won't be an issue for you, you should definitely check this...

Found this while looking at coffee places near Cincinnati when on a weekend trip away from Columbus, Ohio. I didn't expect it to be so cute. Almost every single thing you see in the shop is for sale, you can sit on any of the furniture that's for sale as your way of hanging out in the shop, and there are a lot of cute goodies. I found myself a notebook, a pen, a sticker and a postcard for $12 (I tipped), whereas our 2 coffees came to $8. The workers were super, SUPER friendly and the coffee was yummy. They offer dairy alternatives, which is always a necessity for me. There was even a Dolly Parton dedicated area which was quite cute. A really neat and unique atmosphere. I'd highly recommend stopping in if you're ever...

Starting off with the star of the show was the coffee. I always get a vanilla latte every time I try a new coffee place and the roost knocked it out of the park. Upon your first sip you get a perfect temperature coffee with a nice strong rich flavor immediately followed by a vanilla after taste. Most of the time the vanilla really over powers the latte but the espresso really shined through this time and made for a perfect blend of flavors. Their pastries were fine it's nothing I would get excited about. The owner is as vibrant as the coffee. We can in and immediately felt like friends. The shop is very eclectic with a large space in the back to sit in relax. I would definitely recommend starting your morning...

The Roost is easily my favorite establishment. It's so much more than a coffee shop. It's a vintage shop with clothes, furniture, and Knick knacks, its a gift shop, a place to make friends. It's an event center that you can rent out, they cater outside events, they have story time for children, it's also a fun date night spot to hear live music or attend events to learn new skills and crafts. There is always something new happening here. I'm a regular, in multiple times a week and there are always new awesome items in the shop and different events happening. This place feels like home to me. The staff is incredible, the coffee delectible and the space is inviting you will want to stay for hours. Love love love The Roost!!

The Roost is an oasis for the senses! The smell of the freshly ground coffee and spices. The hundreds of curiosities, many of which are for sale and the warm ambiance of the entire shop almost defies description! Meridith was as welcoming as the spring sun that we enjoyed as we sipped our fancy coffee. Don't waste your time on the chain stores like Starbucks or others! You must stop in and enjoy a cup of artisan coffee, a feast for the eyes and support local business! As Always, Enjoy
