Bamboo Bar & Beach — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

Drove over an hour there for my friends birthday dinner at 6pm. There was 1 girl who was 20 years old accompanied by her parents and the bouncer immediately gave her a hard time even though there were many young kids let loose inside the bar and were left alone outside playing in the sand. Our large group sat at a table directly Infront of the bouncer and he stared at us the whole time and told every worker to watch the 20 year old girl. We all ordered dinner and each had 1 or 2 drinks and the underaged girl had a whole pitcher of water for herself. The bouncer would not stop staring at us and even asked the girls parents to point out who their daughter was. My friend and I wanted to go check out the beach area outside and confirmed with 3 different employees we could leave our full to go boxes at the table. We came back inside after about 30 minutes and they were thrown away and all we got was “sorry you weren’t at the table”. After about 2 hours of being there the bouncer comes over to us demanding the 20 year old leaves and as we are all standing by the exit door waiting for our friends to close their tabs he comes back over to us and screams in this girls face that “I let you stay an hour after I was legally allowed to how nice do you expect me to be” (when we got there he never said she needed to leave by a certain time) and we explained our friends were paying their bill and he yelled “you need to get out of here now”. (As there were plenty of small children running around without adult supervision). We left around 8:30. No one had fun and we were all barely talking to each other while we were there because of the miserable atmosphere. the one nice bouncer invited us to come back a different day but we all agreed we will never come back. So, I needed a place to eat my lunch and I tried This bar kind of like a tiki bar and there's two buildings there's a front building and then the back is more like a beautiful awesome summer retreat for drinkers. They have sand volleyball and all kinds of places to have drinks and socialized looks like they have bands there they had a stage It was just totally beautiful I really really enjoyed it. The food was extremely good I had the special which was a crab cake and the coleslaw and the crab cake was absolutely phenomenal. I mean I was extremely impressed I have crab cakes a lot of different places I do reviews and let me tell you what this crab cake was excellent. Not to mention the server her name was Chloe was extremely knowledgeable. She was very professional and very knowledgeable and she had so much energy. Can't ask for nothing better than having a great server with a great meal because if you have one and not the other it can ruin one or the other. So I just want to thank NPL / North Park lounge cranberry bamboo bar for the quality of the food and their employees. I assume that they take really good care of their employees because everyone that I seen there seem very lively smiles. And that's very big priority If you take care of them they will show you the loyalty back. Thank you so much NPL definitely looking forward to trying your blackened mahi-mahi tomorrow as long as I'm still in town....

The other bouncer was so nice and even invited us to come back another time as the other one had a staring problem and screamed in our faces.
