Beware of the pink/purple spiral slide. My daughter loves this playground and we come here about once a week. Yesterday a friend convinced her to climb on top of the pink slide while I was waiting on the other side of the rock wall for them to come "scare" me. But it was taking too long so I came around the corner to see them both straddling the upper bottom of the pink slide and told them no and to get down. Then my daughter slipped off and fell on her arm breaking it. I also previously saw a child on another visit fall off the slide and hit his head on the metal supports. I see several children climbing up that slide on the top almost every time we go. It is dangerous and slippery. The zip line is lots of fun but requires adult supervision. Please be careful and don't take your eyes off your kids for a minute, especially around that slide. Something should be done so it's not so easy to climb on...

Today was my first time coming to this park. I heard it was a great place to bring your kids and when I searched online, it said I was allowed to also bring my dog, but they weren't allowed in the playground area. We came and were about to sit down in the benches right next to the parking lot of the castle playground(not in the boundaries of the playground) and eat lunch before my husband took our dog to the dog park, and were told by a police officer that the only place we could have our dog is the dog park and not to bothering sitting down unless we wanted a citation. I'm really upset about this, because if the website clearly stated this, I would've left her at home.

As an edit- the website given in the response states I was allowed to do what we were initially going to do. I still would not feel comfortable coming back to this park with my...

I love coming here when I get the opportunity. It's a really nice family park. It has: a playground for children, with different areas for different age groups; one of those free little libraries; a basketball court with several basketball hoops; a volleyball court; several baseball fields (though you need a permit to use those); an amphitheatre; and several walking trails that meander through the woods.

There are also other features I've yet to explore.

It is also a short drive to both the local library and several restaurants.

It's not the best park I've ever been to - that honor goes to Moon Park in Moon Township - but it is by no means a bad park, and I'd definitely recommend taking...

Such a variety of options to keep one busy or physically fit. I am a retired teacher so I especially appreciate the special needs area and the educational pond. The walking path is awesome for those of us who do not belong to a sport. I was also amazed at the weight/work-out area for adults. It is not an eyesore like so many others. And boy, oh boy, has Pickle Ball become all the rage and they are keeping up with the times. Love the outdoor ice rink. What will they think of next?!?! Just an awesome place to spend time, whether to relax or get in shape.

Fun place. Kids love kids castle. About a hour and 30 minute drive for use but well worth it. Its a nice place you can make a full day out of. This park has it all...basketball court with 6 hoops, tennis court with 4 nets, volleyball court, playground, 3-4 baseball fields, nature walks. Believe theres more to it but this is only our 2nd time there so havent explored all it has to offer but boy this place is fun! Best of all...its 100% FREE. If you want good wuality famiky time this is your spot...enjoy!
