If you are driving by and there's a long line and you think to yourself...meh probably not worth the wait.... you are wrong. Totally worth it! We went by there a couple of times while in town for the weekend and thought that it looked very popular. Then noticed the reviews on Google were higher than anyone else in town and decided to try it out. I got the gyro platter and my wife got the small Greek salad. Was in town for work and this little gem popped up on yelp when looking for decent fare.... Boy, i gotta tell you folks, if you are from a city like i am (chicago) that has great greek-joints on every, corner you have lofty expectations.... This place definitely took me back home. I've been ordering from the Parthenon for my family and for work for a number of years and have really grown to love the people and the food. I looked forward to talking to Jack during my visits, and genuinely loved the gyros and salads I usually ordered. There was always good attention to detail in how the food was put together, and it was consistently fresh and delicious. When it sold, I was nervous. However, I've placed several orders there since it changed hands and I have continued to enjoy both the food and the staff. I miss talking to Jack, but he left this Crawfordsville gem...
