Blendz With Benefits — Restaurant in Crestview

First time trying this place after driving by it umpteenth times. Family and I go in and thankfully we're the only ones there because we're new, we dont know what all they have or how things work there. Workers are nice and they greet us but unfortunately you have to place your order on the kiosks up front. Random side note, while we were eating, I saw 4 other people use the kiosk that I did to help order for all of us. And the screens weren't cleaned once between that. So do be sure to wash your hands before you eat, if the bathroom has soap. The soap dispenser was out when I tried it. The food tasted fine, just a bit pricey for what you get in terms of overall quality compared to other places. Trying to order a smoothie is a bit difficult too because im not a hunk. So I dont really know which add-in protein blend i want. I just take whatever comes with it at other places (such as smoothie king). I cant really blame the employees for the layout of the business or the ordering process, so thats why im giving a 3 star review. They were still nice and offered to help if we had questions, but we had to ring a bell and they were busy taking inventory I think. But I feel like a majority of people still prefer talking to someone face to face when ordering food. I dont even think there was a register on their side. Which again, I dont blame the employees who were there when I went, thats on the founders of the place. Anyway, after dining in we all kinda went "eh" and to the local Applebee's. $60 here at Blendz for what we got just wasnt worth it. It didn't feel "new user friendly" and we enjoyed places like Tropical Smoothie and...

The food is very good but the name "Blendz with Benefits" is misleading if you are looking for 7 Brew or Starbucks quality coffees and coffee drinks. Also, customer service here has gone the way of the giant ordering screen, with no other option to order a meal and / or drink. The automated service includes the menu, so there isn't a way to easily sit and sort through the restaurant's offerings, at leisure. My bacon sandwich was good and I heard one of the staff saying to another customer they are "really a sandwhich shop" and not a coffee establishment, which makes the name seem like a bait and switch. I ordered a frappachino drink which tasted more like ice milk with the ice so large and chunky, I could drink only 1/3 of the cup before I had nothing but ice that would not go up my straw. The espresso shot was a far distant note to the drink, which may have been my error because the ordering screen was very confusing regarding the amount of coffee the drink would begin with against added espresso shots (at an additional price/shot). My 12 oz drink was nearly $8, and not at all of the quality one would expect at that...

Personally I LOVE the atmosphere of Blendz, so cozy, upbeat , and welcoming! Immediately makes you feel good when you walk into the doors. It’s clean and that’s one of the first things you notice about the place aswell. I love the technology when you go to submit your orders in the store it’s quick and there’s easy guidance to all the delicious foods/drinks that are offered and all reasonably priced items. The food is next level, almost all the sandwiches are to die for.. smelling them makes your mouth water. They have all kinds of options as well… salads, cold wraps, toasted/non toasted sandwiches, coffees, protein shakes, teas , lemonades, smoothies, fruit bowls and salads, baked goods, acia bowls with limitless topping options and the best part is they are all made with GOOD QUALITY , FRESH ingredients and LOVE! That’s the best part honestly you can’t find many places with all that goodness guaranteed! The service is amazing, everyone in there is such a kind/unique soul. They care about what they do and all of their customers ensuring that all their needs are met. I couldn’t say anything bad about this...
