When I first ordered a very expensive phone last week, I had phenomenal customer service provided by a younger female. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name but she was knowledgeable and efficient. According to her, the new phone was supposed to be delivered by the end of the week and I would receive a notification.
Today, I needed to go to Winn Dixie with my family and hadn’t received a notification that my phone was ready for pickup so figured I’d just stop in and see if it happened to be there.
When I walked in, there was one male employee helping one male customer with a toddler. I was willing to wait and smiled at him as I entered. He responded with “what do you need?”… so I told him that I had ordered a phone and just wanted to see if it had been delivered yet. He said “I don’t know what’s your name?” So I told him. He said it would be awhile (and I get that… he was working with someone else).
After a minute, the customer chased his toddler into the back room, giving the employee a moment to check things out. He said “no, it’s not here” so I asked “ okay, do you know maybe when it will be delivered?” And his response was “ no”.
I was a taken aback by his hostility so just didn’t respond right away. His next statement was “ it depends on if it was ordered in the morning or afternoon.”
At this point, it was very clear that he didn’t want to deal with me, so I walked out.
About 30 minutes later, we finished shopping in Winn Dixie and I had told my husband about this interaction. He decided to go over and see if he could get an eta on the phone since mine wasn’t working.
Magically, when my husband asked, the phone was there and able to be picked up. Hubby came and got me and instantly employee Justin had a different and suck up attitude.
Ten minutes later, we walked out with my phone. Justin, I didn’t do anything that could have possibly offended you. I was friendly and nice the entire time. You need to learn how to provide non-hostile customer service. I came to this location for convenience but I promise I...
Read moreI am giving this one star because of the manager Mike. I went in there because my phone was defective. The second I walked in, he met me at the door. It honestly seemed like he was just trying to get me out the door. He was rude and he offered to sell me a new phone instead of helping me with the info so I could get a new phone shipped to me from Verizon or answer my questions about switching to a different phone for the meantime. I went in the next day and Lennard helped me. He went above and beyond to help me get a phone switched over until I could get one shipped to me from Verizon. He was personable and made small talk. Lennard and Kaitlyn were so nice. They get 5 stars. Mike gets 0 stars because he was rude, not helpful and very much not manager material. I've been with Verizon for 8 years and Mike made me want to switch to a...
Read moreWent in and dealt with Michael. We had a great time and he was really helpful, or so we thought. He said he was giving us discounts on our plan to lower our bill and even got my dad set up with a Samsung watch. Our bill went up by about $200, even though Michael told us it would go down by about $80. My dad went in to talk to Michael about the plan and ask him about the watch. Michael denied saying anything that he told me, my dad and my friend the couple of days before. He also completely blew my dad off when my dad asked for help with his new Samsung watch. We have had NOTHING but issues with the phone he sold me and with this store. So much so that we have had to go to the South End store because Michael is such a liar and so rude. If you need help with ANYTHING Verizon related, go to the South End...
