Polar Bear Ice Cream & Poke — Restaurant in Crestview

My husband and I and our daughter have visited Polar Bear Ice Cream & Poke in Crestview, FL numerous times and have had the sincere pleasure of being greeted with the biggest smiles and on 1 particular visit, Damien went out of his way to be most helpful in making our choices of what ice cream we wanted and what we wanted in our Poke bowls as well. Damien gave us EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE from start to finish! Lexi and Alexis and Nick and Brady were also there that evening. They were all very helpful and they all worked so well as a team. They gave us the VERY BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ICE CREAM PARLOR/POKE EXPERIENCE EVER! The next time we went it was BREE that helped us. She was also very helpful and polite and had the biggest smile. WHAT AN AMAZING TEAM AND WHAT SUPERAMAZING INDIVIDUALS that work at POLAR BEAR ICE CREAM AND POKE...Alex Ou you need to KEEP them and PAY THEM WELL...they DESERVE HUGE RAISES!! You don't find this level of customer service and dining experience anywhere anymore...most places and the people working there don't care or maybe it's because they don't feel appreciated. Terrible. Not the place for PTSD. Very very noisy chopping ice cream. Last thing I want to hear is anything sounding like gunfire while eating terrible tasting icecream. The setup is all wrong. Why not be able to look at the ingredients and ice cream first before ordering. That way it's easier to make up your mind from what they have, rather than guessing. It's irritating to ask for all the toppings you're in the mood for to be told one by one "we don't have that". I don't know what kind of ice cream that was, but it tasted nothing like any ice cream I've ever encountered. The whole thought of having an ice cream place different from coldstone is a good and adventurous thought, but it should have remained a thought. If you're in the mood for ice cream, Sonic is right beside it. Save yourself the let down. Tell your taste buds I said "Your welcomed". Service was pretty good though. Not terrible but too overpriced for what you get. The ice cream is alright, but you can get it way cheaper and better pretty much anywhere. The boba tea though, don’t even get me started. They shouldn’t be able to pass it off as tea, for one, because it tastes and looks nothing like tea whatsoever, and also doesn’t taste like the flavors it’s supposed to be. I got strawberry tea with strawberry bobas, and the liquid was a bright weird unnatural pastel pink and smelled and tasted JUST LIKE PEPTO BISMOL, or some nasty artificial strawberry flavoring that was messed up. The bobas tasted and had texture like pure heavy artificial strawberry syrup and it just felt so nasty putting it in my body.
