This Popeyes is hands down the worst in the area. At the end of last week I stopped to grab dinner for my family. Lobby doors were locked, I ended up waiting in the drive thru line for 45 minutes before I was able to get room to pull out, and leave. My daughter unfortunately was dead set on Popeyes so I opted to order in the app, and go run errands. Got back about 30 minutes later and the car I was behind when I left, was still sat waiting in the drive thru line, just finally at the speaker. I pulled in a car behind them, and since I had already paid, had to wait another hour for my food.
I went again this week about an hour after open to give them another chance. Placed the order through the app before I got there again hoping for a quicker turn around, instead of a family meal like I had gotten for dinner, I only got a 3pc tender meal. Waited 20 minutes at the speaker, was finally greeted by an extremely rude male telling me to pull up to the window. When I got to said window the same very rude male told me to park in front and someone would bring my food out. Lovely here we go again. I sat filling out paperwork for 40 minutes, finished completely, then went inside the finally unlocked lobby, and waited another 10 minutes before getting cold and soggy food…
Understaffing is clearly not an issue at this location like they claim, you can see numerous employees wandering around doing nothing. As someone who’s managed fast food restaurants this locations problem is management, laziness, lack of training, and poor attitude. I’m sure with proper management in place this Popeyes would run as efficiently as others in the area.
To the person or whatever writing generic replies to the reviews… take yourself into the store and make a change or close the doors. If you don’t these reviews will continue and business will also...
Read moreI'm so upset. I have been waiting for this location to open for months. It was plagued with problems during the construction so it took WAY longer than it should have. It happens so that that's understandable. It finally opened this week so I decided to go tonight. I was excited enough that the 45+ minute wait in the drive through didn't bother me too much even though earlier I had been in the Chick-fil-a line with as many people and it took six or seven minutes to get through. I figure it's a new restaurant with new employees learning and it was nearly 9pm so I'm sure they were tired. I finally got to place my order and I asked for eight spicy tenders, eight regular tenders, one large side, and two biscuits. When I was told the price over the intercom I couldn't tell if they said $14 or $40 but neither sounded right. When I got to the window he said it would $40 and some change!!! In what universe is 16 tenders, one large side, and two biscuits $40?! I stop at the Popeye's in the Atlanta airport twice a month when I travel for work. I will get eight spicy tenders, one regular side, one biscuit and a large drink and the price is about $14 and some change. So if I double that order I get exactly what I ordered tonight plus two drinks for less than $30 in an airport where everything costs more. How again was I not being taken advantage of tonight? I told them to keep it and drove off. I don't care how long I wait I will not be taken advantage of. I worked for Domino's for ten years and we never did that to people. They didn't have to ask for a special. We tried to find the best deal we could because we wanted to take care of our customers. Something needs to be done about this because $40 for what I ordered is...
Read moreI'd give it less stars if I could. Where do I start... Placed our order and that all went correct. When we pulled up, we were immediately told to pull ahead as they were waiting on some food, which was understandable given our large order. No payment was taken, even though I had my card out to hand to them. After waiting almost 25 minutes, they came out with the food and stated they forgot to take our payment, to which I handed them cash for. They took the cash back inside along with all of the food, then came back out with just the food - none of the drinks. After checking the food, we found out that we had not been provided any of the sauces requested for each of the meals. After telling them what drinks we ordered, we got our drinks finally and the sauces; however no change was provided even though we were owed some. After pulling around, we found that none of our food was fresh, even the stuff that we allegedly had to wait for to be done. The root beer turned out to be some sort of tea, the Sierra Mist was not Sierra Mist (possibly water with some weird flavoring and absolutely no carbonation visible in the cup), the 2nd Pepsi wasn't Pepsi and not sure what it was. No napkins or forks were provided, the gravy for the mashed potatoes was the worst tasting gravy ever and the biscuits were dry. Terrible experience on our end (and appeared that way for many customers who appeared upset), one who waited outside of the store while we were in the drive through and kept going back and forth with a worker and their receipt, another who literally walked up to the drive thru window listing items that were not received while another customer in their car was trying to pay). Avoid this place...
