I have heard good things previously about this location from patients when I worked in a physician’s office. This was my first time going there and I don’t think I’ll be returning. I am 12 weeks pregnant and needed glucose and lab testing related to that. The only reason I am leaving 3 stars instead of 1 is because the second technician who had to stick me did a fantastic job and was very professional and comforting. I had a glucose test done so I had to drink the drink and then wait an hour. All good, this is how it works. During the hour wait the lobby became crowded, I knew they were busy so I did not knock on the door to the back to use their restroom, I figured I would wait until I was called so I wouldn’t interrupt anyone who was in the middle of dealing with another patient. When I was called back to have my blood drawn after an hour, I asked if I could please go to the bathroom before she took my blood. She told me no because she was about to go to lunch. When I sat down, uncomfortable and tense already because of this, I told her that my veins are tricky and usually the back of my hand works better. She did not even look at the back of my hand and instead decided to try on my arm, which I am okay with if the technician truly finds a viable vein and can do it more easily there. However, she did not bother to check my hands at all before she made an attempt, and she used a long pediatric needle which is clearly very difficult to have any control with, and once she was in, each time she detached and reattached the tubes she significantly jostled the long needle and it was very painful. This was the most painful blood draw I have EVER had, my arm is now bruised and sore. The third time she switched tubes, it hurt so badly that I flinched. She said “Because you jumped, it came out of the vein.” She then called someone to come take over for her, hurriedly did whatever she needed to do so that she could leave and go to lunch. She did not say another word to me. The second technician came in, quickly found a good vein on the back of my hand, and completely painlessly inserted a butterfly needle. Usually the back of the hand hurts worse, but this time it was flawless. There is zero soreness or bruising now. I was pretty upset by the first interaction and shaking from the whole thing, and the second technician took her time and did her best to fix the experience, which I really do appreciate. Unfortunately I was frazzled and did not get her name. Editing to add, I think the second technician who did an awesome job was...
Read moreThis place didn’t even deserve one star. My husband paid out of pocket to have his blood drawn for his testosterone levels. My husband has always had troubles with bloodwork, he turns white and will almost pass out every time. The worker came out and very rudely only said “room 2” so he gently let the nurse right off of the bat that he has trouble and will sometimes pass out when giving blood. In which she responded AGAIN “room 2”. In fact, that was the ONLY thing she said to my husband the entire duration. He was back for maybe 5 minutes and came out completely white faced with gray lips. Proceeded to pass out in the parking lot and took 20 minutes to recover before we could even leave. The absolute absence of ANY human decency what so ever was mindblowing. My husband made this appointment on their website for 240pm and it turns out they close at 3pm. So i suppose the complete disregard for a human they just took blood from comes from them rushing to get off of work for the day. Absolutely disgusting place. If you need lab work and value yourself, PLEASE make the 15 minute drive to the Niceville office. They will treat you...
Read moreThe lady who did my bloodwork was absolutely an angel. She worked in the first cubicle to the RIGHT as you walk in the Crestview, Florida Quest Diagnostics location. She was extremely pleasant, but also extremely knowledgeable about her job of finding a vein (extremely difficult to find on me). She listened as I told her that a butterfly needle is usually used to stick me, because my veins are tiny and are very hard to locate. She amazed me by sticking me only once, not having to move the needle at all to begin the blood drawing process. I hope she can be identified by the description I gave of her. My appointment was on Monday 5.19.2025 at 6:20 am. She had long hair, was darked skinned, and had blonde hair. Please offer this lady a sincere thank-you (as I praised her face-to-face), for listening and being so gentle. I never even felt when the needle was put in my arm. Best experience I have had in my 64 years of having...
