I put in my order on the mobile app and drove 20 mins to the location. When I get to the drive thru, it was a full line of cars. The car at the speaker box drove off and I went to the speaker. Gentleman said through the speaker "I am the only manager on the line right now and the only one cooking so im shutting the restaurant down for a few minutes to catch up". I asked him if that would affect mobile orders because I had already paid. I was then told to pull around front and wait and my order would be brought out. When I pulled around to the front, I saw several people standing in the parking lot by a few cars. They had kids running around and were only concerned with conversation. Then after 10 minutes, 2 of the people outside go in the restaurant. That's when I realized they weren't customers standing outside, they were employees just ignoring several cars backing up the parking lot and drive thru. One employee then comes back outside to my car asking "what's the name on the order? We don't have a mobile order here. Are you sure it's under that name?" This is after telling them multiple times what the name on the order was. The order was already processed in the app so I couldn't cancel it. Another 20 minutes goes by before I finally get my food and when I get home, it's soggy and burnt and absolutely disgusting. We even got sick from the little bit of the order we did eat. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a taco bell. Telling customers that had already paid that the store is closing to catch up on orders because there's only 1 person cooking. Yet multiple employees are standing outside, not working, with children with them, then have the audacity to give attitude to customers that had been waiting over 30 minutes for already paid for food. That location needs to be addressed. Live and learn, I will never go to this...

I went through drive thru at about 9:45pm on the 4th day this location was open. There were only 2 other cars in line at the time which I found surprising since they just opened, but was grateful because that meant it shouldn't take forever. I was mistaken.
When I approached the menu I was greeted in a polite manner and then I placed my order: one cheese quesadilla. The order taker cut me off as I was requesting for them to go easy on the sauce. When I completed my order the cashier asked me if that was all, and then told me to pull up. There was no total provided, the order was not on the screen to verify they had it entered correctly and I wasn't offered a drink (which I'm fairly certain their company policy requires them to do so). I then proceeded to sit in line for 15 minutes waiting for my food.
The quesadilla that I received left much to be desired. The cheese was not melted and the quesadilla was not hot. I understand that things won't always be "hate yourself for the next week for not letting the food cool off" hot, but it would have been nice if the cheese had at least been melted. I tried a bite on my way home, and the flavor was what you would expect of a cheese Quesadilla other than being sad and cold.
This was a very disappointing visit. Especially considering that this is a newly opened restaurant. The food as well as the customer service were both a let down. I'll be sticking to the other two fast food restaurants in that area and praying Burger King has better execution when...
Read moreI take 1 star reviews very seriously. I don't do them often, but when I do. When we arrived, long line, long wait. That's ok. Placed the order and it was ok after waiting a bit at the speaker... Ok. But living in Crete, nothing is close by, everything is still a drive. We get out food. My wife's fries are cold, like out of the freezer and thawed out. They get us new ones. Ok. The cashier was super nice by the way..... She repeated the order so it sounded good. Get home, I'm missing my Chalupa from my order.... My kids wanted cinnamon twist. They had a stale taste, and then we got a chemical taste afterwards. Like we are worried about. Saved some for evidence just in case.
This place has so much potential because Crete has the only Taco bell in a radius a few major miles. This is a testament of poor management and absolutely poor ownership. I have come here multiple times and it's every time. Mistakes happen I get it. But this is just a shame and the city of #Crete should send health inspectors. #TacoBell corp. Sorry not sorry, I had a long day at work also. Missed lunch, and I just wanted to go home and have a meal before bed and back to work.
