On the recommendation of my father-in-law, we went here for brunch. The server was great but the restaurant had that sticky dirty feel to it. My husband's food was good and prepared to order. His pancakes were some of the best we've had in a while. My father-in-law had biscuits and gravy which he said was just ok but probably stale and not heated through. I ordered a ribeye with scrambled eggs and it came with hashbrowns. When the waitress sat my plate down, I started smelling something sour. I thought the table had been cleaned with a sour rag but I hadn't smelled that odor until my plate came. I tasted the steak and then realized that was where the smell was coming from. I cut off a piece and asked my husband if it smelled sour. He agreed and informed the waitress. She quickly removed it and offered a replacement but I declined. The eggs were ok but not scrambled medium as I had ordered. They were overdone. The hashbrowns were good. Maybe it was just an "off" day for them. I wasn't impressed. Read moreFirst of all, the ladies in there are all very friendly and helpful. The food was ok but that's it just ok. I ordered 3 eggs, hash browns w/pancakes and bananas foster French toast, first of the hash browns were dry and flavorless the eggs (no seasoning) i ordered with cheese and that gave them a little flavor. Now, the bananas foster french toast, according to their menu they come with this rum glazed bananas and topped with pecans, well there was no rum glazed bananas just bland french toast and sliced bananas that weren't even ripe, the pecans were a bit stale. It had been over a year or more since I had wood's corner and thought I'd give them a try again after the previous co-owner left, thought maybe things were as good as it was then. The food needs improvement, nothing wrong...

( yelled from across the room) They seemed to be a bit confused there as to who was suppose to wait on us, then they never closed the tab out from whomever ever was there before us so that added more confusion. We tried the tater tots in the breakfast gravy to start and well that was rather interesting, wasn't really a fan. As for the burger and beerbattered fries..... the fries tasted just like any other fry and you only got a hand full, not many at all. The breakfast was good. Staff was friendly, but kinda stood around staring at you but not willing to come check on you. It was an odd feeling. It will be awhile before we give this place...
