Place was nice and clean. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes were off the charts good. Rest of the food was just eh. Our server was apparently also the only one working the buffet, so we didn’t see much of her. Our table and the one next to us had no refills and our plates just piled up on the table until we ran out of room. ETA: We were just passing through, so we don’t know how service is consistently. We did not speak to the manager, because we didn’t want to get our server in trouble. She was busy the whole time we were there, just not in a way that she was able to prebus her tables, refill drinks and interact with her customers. I went up to 4 stars because management did reach out to me after reading my review.

I'd been wanting to eat at Shoneys once it got back up and running after Covid. I would drive by once or more every week for months, and tell my wife "We should eat there". I had the buffet. Overall it's ok, a wide variety of food but it looked like it had been sitting there for awhile. The fried fish was cold, and the chicken was undercooked. The pintos and mashed potatoes were good. The waitress was very friendly, and we enjoyed conversations with her, since there wasn't many people eating at the time. We heard the breakfast buffet is better. I would order off the menu, if I eat there in the future.

Really fantastic! I mean like, super fantastic! Came here to get breakfast and the buffet was awesome. The chicken and biscuits were amazingly light, the french toast was perfectly crispy, and there was enough of everything to have a complete breakfast! Service was also great, and I would certainly stop through here again! Folks, if you want a good breakfast, I can recommend this Shoneys. It was also very clean, something I can't say about the other Shoneys I have been to.

The cabbage had no flavor to it. It was just plain cabbage, no flavor no seasoning same thing for the beans no flavor when it came to the spaghetti and they should’ve used spaghetti sauce and stay at whoever is making making the spaghetti. They add tomato paste they should’ve asked onion, bell pepper, some celery, butter, shredded cheese in the spaghetti And tomato sauce not tomato paste. I told the young lady the food need to change. They need some more cooks back there or they need to train the cook at the gap cabbage is supposed to have seasoning flavor. If I got to bring my own seasoning I might as well eat some whales. I hope they change the way they cook the beans, the pinto beans, no flavor they could use some ham or even a little bacon grease And gave the beans some kind of flavor. They could’ve added some onion, bell pepper, celery, partially to the beans, they could’ve added a lot of stuff to give the food more flavor. This location needs help when it comes to cooking food. People are standing at the buffet and complaining about the taste not enough seasoning. You should not use tomato paste in Spaghetti. It need to be tomato sauce, American cheese. It should’ve had onion, bell pepper celery, partially put some butter into the spaghetti, give it flavor. The whole purpose of people coming to these restaurants is so that they can have a good place to eat and the food need to have flavor. It need to have taste so I give this restaurant really not even a full star but a half of a half of a star simply cause the food didn’t have any kind of fried with...

It was good food but I was disappointed with the waitress, I took my friend in from Florida and one of my granddaughters, who wanted to go there because of the great food and service she and I got from a wonderful waitress at that time. But today was different, and she brought the check while me and my friend were back at the bar and leaves the check, while only my 12 yr old granddaughter is sitting with her menu meal. I was surprised that she didn't even come back and ask if we needed refills or dessert. Knowing my granddaughter specifically wanted a hot fudge cake! Also no pre- bussing our plates. But the other waitress I asked if she could get our waitress for me, pre- bussed the few stack plates we had, and we waited for her. She came soon and I asked for the dessert my granddaughter wanted, even though she said she was full, got it to go, but I was still eating and I knew Hannah would eat the dessert. And she does. It was not busy, But there is a big difference in getting a 20$ tip and a 3$ tip. I'm a waitress as well and I am alot older. It's the lowest I have ever tipped even for bad/fair service ever. The food was great and the others were very helpful. Maybe she was at the end of her shift or having a bad day, IDK but the tip is what she earned. My first job was at Shoneys when it was on the other side of the bridge. I was trained to be the best waitress possible and do my job the best or there would be no Job. Good luck to the server and treat your customers as you would like to get when you go out to eat and it will...

They honestly did earn 1 *. The moment we walked in the door I should have known better. I went to take my grandma out to breakfast I only had a few hours as a stopover. So we walk in and the hostess did not treat us very friendly. She was very quick to the table set the menu down and seemed upset that my grandmother was on a walker and not moving very fast and on top of that I needed to go out to the vehicle to get my sweater. It was also pouring down rain and my grandmother had asked for a napkin to wipe off the seat of her walker so that when she raised it to get her purse out it wouldn't pour water on the floor again rudely recepted. Then on top of that she is ringing us up I asked her if they do any discounts and she tells me that yes they do and that they have seniors I said well my grandmother is 85 years old and she says oh well I already rang you up. And what really got my goat on top of the ending was the fact that the same waitress that looked as if she smiled her face would break actually started cracking jokes and was nice to the people behind us. So the one star was earned when she saw that I emptied my little pot of coffee and she went and expediently retrieved another one for me thank you very much Smiles go a long way Korea service go a long way and when you have the elderly patients go...
