Ordered from them 4 times. 3 delivery, 1 take-out. Today was the final time.

First. Ordered delivery. Driver made a comment about my weight. I have a sense of humor so I laughed, but I know many who would have not been so amused. This however was a draw for me, so I came back.

Second. Delivery. One of our items was completely wrong, literally the wrong entree. And the one that waa correct that was supposed to be spicy... Well, I shouldn't have to add sriracha and red pepper flakes to my food if it's supposed to be spicy already.

Third. We were comped an entree for our second time using them, so we tried them a third time. Nothing went wrong, but despite ordering extra spicy, still got bland food I had to add sriracha and red pepper flakes to. But the order was all correct otherwise. Food was left sitting on the porch with no watching or notice that it was there, I was lucky enough to have been looking out the window as the driver walked away.

Fourth. Ordered a lunch special to go on a Monday. I get there with only enough cash for what the order total is supposed to be, even the receipt says the price I knew on it. I am told that my order is 2 dollars extra for an additional thing I got that did not show an additional charge when ordering online, as the actual receipt reflected. And while we did order extra rice on the side, we were ready to pay for that fee and it showed online, not the other fee that did not exist when we checked out online. So I canceled this order.

Overall every experience with this location of Skillman has been subpar or worse. Will not order...

We decided to check this place out. Walking in, the place felt really warm like the ac wasn’t on. As we looked at the menu, we noticed it was a combination of Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese food. Interesting. Oh and boba drinks. I’m a big fan of Pad Thai, so I wanted to try that and well, it was a completed let down. It wasn’t that bad, but it looked and tasted more like Lo Mein to me. Not sure if the cook got confused or combined the two dishes, since they serve both Chinese and Thai food. My boyfriend ordered the General Tso chicken and well, it tasted like Orange chicken. I really think there’s some confusion in the kitchen as to what the dishes really are. It was ok though, just not that much food and really big pieces of chicken. The eggrolls that came with it weren’t bad, it had a pretty good crunch and flavor. He also ordered their Strawberry tea with popping boba and it was pretty tasty. Just a lot of ice and not much of the drink. I got the dragon potion which was a nice combination of flavors, but just watered down a bit....

Lunch at Wok and Roll Express – A Mixed Experience

I decided to support a local business today and grabbed lunch from Wok and Roll Express, craving some comforting Chinese food. While the service was prompt and the staff polite, the food unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations.

I ordered fried rice, orange chicken, and an egg roll. The orange chicken was the highlight – flavorful and well-cooked. However, the rest of the meal fell short:

The fried rice was underwhelming – essentially just brown-colored rice with hardly any egg or vegetables. It lacked the usual variety and depth of flavor you'd expect from a good fried rice.

The egg roll seemed like it had been sitting out for quite a while – not fresh or crispy.

Additionally, I noticed a 15% off promotion advertised for their re-grand opening, but this wasn’t mentioned or applied to my order, which was disappointing.

I appreciate the effort to provide quick service, but unfortunately, the quality of the meal and lack of promotional follow-through left a lot...

The food was terrible. They actually give a discount for people who leave a good review. I just can't do it. The rice was the only good dish. Had the ribs, lo main, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken & egg rolls. Where do I start. Ok just say NO. The carrots in the beef and broccoli were brown. Not due to sauce but freshness. Practically no beef. The roast pork lo main and rice. Didn't have small pieces of roast pork. It had strips like if you were to have them in a dish. Very blah tasting. My dogs enjoyed them. The egg rolls were deep fried to death. After being told the ribs were expensive, I got a double order, only 4 ribs. They were inedible. Coverd in sauce and looked good, but the taste was terrible. They were old, dry & nasty. Overall, never again. Sorry, the owner or guy at the counter is very nice. It's sad that this is considered Chinese food.

Ordered the orange chicken - the C14. Received my order and took it home. I have never received fried rice without the vegetables. Tonight it had no vegetables - not an onion in sight. We tried to call the restaurant and the manager yelled at us and told us it wasn't his problem. He argued with us on the phone for 15 minutes and told my husband he did not care - but if it bothered us so badly we could come up and spend $2 for them to make it correctly. Highly doubt i'll be back - people, there are other and better chinese places around the crowley south fort worth area.. Use them.
