Edit: Responding to the owner. Not sure what you're referring to about me responding to somebody & redirecting them to Subway. That makes no sense considering 1) Reviewers can't respond to other reviews, only you can. 2) I worked at Subway 7 years ago & would never tell anybody to go to there considering that place is horrible. So not only is your response unprofessional as predicted, but for some reason you decided to add that lie about me. Also would like to add it's a coincidence one of the next reviews after mine said you would be better off going to Taco Bell, because I was originally going to say that. They're right. Even with Taco Bell's reputation, I haven't had their food in a few years, but I know their quesadillas are about 1/3 or 1/4 of the price as the ones here, are at least twice the size, & probably 4 times the amount of cheese & flavor... It's a quesadilla, not two small tortillas with a sliver of cheese. You can choose to accept constructive criticism or not. Only you can decide if it will strengthen your business. Thanks for listening.
Original Review: I have tried giving this place a chance many times. I have even recommended this place to many of my customers due to outdoor seating & changing menu. However, I think today is my last visit, & will never recommend again. Every young person I've encountered working there has horrible customer service, walking up to the window asking "You know what you want yet?" Definitely not a welcoming greeting, if you could even call it a greeting. Some of them have even given the wrong change back & I had to correct it. The biggest problem though is every single time, there has been something missing, or we have been charged extra for something. THIS time, I did not get my salsa and my partner didn't get their chips & salsa at all, which it clearly says on the menu that it's included. $14 for the TINIEST quesadilla I've ever seen. The food is already extremely overpriced, so to miss items is unacceptable. The owner Niki has always had a pleasant attitude in person, however the way you respond to people's 1 star reviews is extremely unprofessional. It's really unfortunate because I wanted to enjoy this place but the customer service & missing food in every order has made every experience here unenjoyable...
Read moreIt’s hard to be overly-critical of this place, or overly-complimentary either. It is roughly what you should expect from a drive-up eatery made from a converted family home. It will do in a pinch, but there are better options nearby.
First and foremost, the place is extremely overpriced. We paid $33 for a plain hotdog, a chili dog, an order of chili fries (which were not french fries, they were potato wedges; and I would not have bought them if that were made clear), a lemonade, and an Arnold Palmer. But, by comparison, they wanted $15+ for some of the other entree options. They also included scallions all over the chili dog and chili fries, without any notification or explanation.
The service was limited, but fine. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. Had we not had our dog with us though, somewhere else likely would’ve made for a more enjoyable lunch.
Edit: I did have to reduce the rating of this place by a star due to the oddly aggressive and defensive response from their owner/operator. I never implied they lived there. I implied it was previously a family home that was converted into a restaurant. Meaning, it was not initially built as a restaurant and it seemingly wasn’t trying to pose as such. Which, admittedly, is why it seemed odd that they were charging restaurant prices. Sometimes more than the surrounding restaurants, actually. Which, if providing exceptional service? Sure. But the excuses about the food aren’t valid, they’re oversights. Also, odd that they would play r the 20% tip that I provided to help the sustainability of their labor; while trying to be righteous about it regards to...
Read moreFriendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food. This is such a great addition to Crystal Falls, and my family and I have wanted to check it out since the moment we saw it last year. The outdoor seating is completely shaded from the summer heat by lush trees, from which dangle atmospheric outdoor lights for when the sun gets low. The small but diverse menu consists of a changing selection of homemade options. I'm a sucker for cuban sandwiches so my eyes immediately locked onto that and I'm happy to say it's every bit as delicious as it looks. The selection of drinks, sides, and ice cream is equally satisfying. My whole family loved it and will be coming back again. This place is an absolute must for anyone looking for a...
