Extremely dissatisfied with the service in the drive thru tonight. The young man that took our order took quite a while in an empty drive thru to even acknowledge us, which is okay, we get it, its Friday night, it might be busy where we can't see, both of us have worked drive thrus and fast food in our past. We eventually pull up to the second window (almost 10min later with many long pauses during our ordering) and as the young man takes our payment, is interacting on a videocall in his personal phone, entitely ignoring the remainder of our interaction. We watch as he walks across the store to what seems to be the bathroom area and does not come back for quite a while. Eventually, my husband parks in the car and goes inside and had an interaction with the same person who took our order and our payment. Which stated as "what?" "I'm In for my order that is taking forever" my husband explained. "Oh its right here" and he is handed a bag. My husband proceeds to open the bag to verify the order and the man says "its all there. I put it all in there" my husband asked for a receipt, which he was questioned about why he wanted it. Finally the other man from the back, who was working in the kitchen, came up and tried to address the situation as it was getting a bit heated. They were unable to get a paper copy of the receipt. We left. This was getting to be too much of a headache for "fast food" after an already long day. We get home and sure enough, my husband's burger and our requested sauces were missing. I called, 3 times , and no answer.
I will also mention that the person behind us in line had a very similar experience.
I'm not one to complain, but having both worked in the industry, this was so unreal. Especially when "in person" complaints lead to the comment "I've been working forever and doing this and never had complqints man". My fast food service standards are not high, but .... come on...
Read moreToday’s experience at this Burger King was not a good one. I attempted to place my order at around 6:10 PM (27-October, 2021) and the person taking the order could not understand that I wanted.
I was trying to order a Double Whopper with Cheese, but I wanted to substitute the bun for a potato bun (I cannot have sesame seeds as I have diverticulosis). There’s actually a “button” for that option on the register.
Anyway, after two or three attempts where he simply could not understand this — he got someone else to understand. This new man understood the request for the bun substitution, but seemed to be in a hurry as he then said “is that all?” almost immediately. It wasn’t and I said I wanted another Double Whopper without Cheese with no mayo. Again — the “is that all?” was said. I said “no” and added two large onion rings.
He then closed the order and I had a fleeting glimpse of the menu board where I saw the order was wrong (only one sandwich with BOTH the bun substitution and no mayo). I managed to get his attention back and explained the error.
At that point, I was told that it wasn’t what I had ordered (which I feel was extremely impolite as I’m the one giving them my order). This was simply too much for me as I’ve had issues with this restaurant getting my order wrong in the past. I did reply back that they could forget my order completely and I did add that they are worthless.
Needless to say, this Burger King will never see any future business from me (and they’re probably fine with that since they certainly don’t appear to...
Read moreHaven't had BK in a while so I figured why not? Pulled up to the speaker, the person said something, and I didn't hear what they said. Was beginning to say my order then I was cut off with "Can I get a minute, thank you" in a very rude, and condescending tone. Looks like there was one person working there, so I understand needing time, but being rude about it was not the way to do it. Immediately got a sour taste in my mouth because of that, and didn't even wait to place my order. Their drive thru is stupid can't even get out without going through the line and there was a car in front, had to back my car out, luckily it was ghost town so no problem doing that. Then I wanted to get a look at the person, it was a very large white man, and I did not appreciate his condescending smile when I looked at him driving away. I'm sorry you hate your job bro, maybe customer service isn't your career. Honestly kind of glad that happened after that first interaction I had a feeling the food was going to be trash, I went straight to McDonald's, and it was busy but got my food fast, and enjoyed it. I was probably the last face that BK worker saw, because nobody was there. Based on the reviews I read after the fact, I know why. This location should probably just close down. I guess I'll try again one day, but definitely the one on Randall Rd, never coming back here again. I would also recommend people not wasting their hard earned money on...
