NOTE: this review is not for the average person. This Casey's is an average gas station, get your gas and go, you'll be fine. This review is for management/ownship. I agree the lines are often too long. Not the cashier's fault if there's only one doing the job. In general the cashiers are very friendly. I don't like blaming the store's failure on the little guy. Ultimately I think I will never forgive Casey's for what they did to this particular store when they took over. The prior Buckeys store was awesome. It was our favorite store to go to when we wanted snacks and something fun, especially when you're on the bike trail. It had an entire wall of slush machines! (admittedly probably overkill, you could have removed half but you didn't have to remove them all). The Buckys store was wall-to-wall everything you could possibly ever want and probably the best convenience store in the area. The store looked great and it was FUN to go to! When Casey's took over they ripped it all out. Nice quality shelving systems that fit the BIG square footage of this store location and you replaced them with smaller cheap metal shelving. The whole look of the store changed. The slushie machine wall immediately ripped out was storage for some time and then a partial wall of liquor. Good for some, I guess. Not even sure if this location has functioning slushie machines anymore because we go to Thorntons for that now. Casey's Coffee tasted like chemicals so I stopped buying that. Teas were usually out/unmade, so stopped bothering. I would only stop at this Casey's for Vuse Vapes when needed. But then they stopped selling 1.8% nicotine, so I would have to buy the 2.5% (in a pinch that I didn't want to buy). Now today, they only had 5% nicotine which I refuse to smoke. I also wanted a 2 liter of diet 7up/sprite (or any diet the like, not picky)... They had Casey's Coke, Casey's lemon lime, and Casey's Green mountain to be exact... sparingly on a big empty end cap. No other 2 liters to be found in this HUGE store. And yes, I went to the bathroom, one stall marked "out of order", big puddle in the middle bathroom. But the other working stall also very out of order as as it flushed violently for 2 minutes. My reasons for stopping at this store have ended. This large store is an oversized, underutilized shell of what it once was under Buckeys. So much...
Read moreTried it several times since it opened. Other than gas, one of the next most important things for a gas station to have is coffee. And the coffee supply at this Bucky's is frustrating at best. They are set up to dispense it only from machines & if you don't like cheap powdered creamer, then don't expect their creamer dispensing machine to be working properly either. It was on my way to work so I tried giving it a chance several times ... but ... never been able to get a drinkable cup of coffee there. On the up side ... the washrooms are always clean, the donuts are really good, & the big plus is that they have an OUTSTANDING iced tea selection. TWO DIFFERENT BRANDS OF UNSWEETENED TEA are available from the tea fountains. For those of us that don't drink sugar anymore ... it's great to get...
Read moreI have written similar post over year ago. I have a membership car wash. 8 out of 10 times I drive all the way there and car wash is always out of service. Not sure what management is doing with the car wash operations but either to close it permanently or fix the problem. The car wash membership is not cheap and they sure do take their money out every month but don’t care to actually provide the services for it. Also half the time the computer system don’t work. You arrive to get fuel or into store and the internet is down and can’t purchase gas or products. It’s totally a hit or miss when you go there. Going to look for refund. If they don’t want to do business then just close the site or sell it to a responsible company that does want to provide good service...
