I showed up after a long day, just needing some good ice cream. I found a coupon for buy one get one free blizzard coupons (which is why I went here in the first place) . I pull up and there's a line out the door. I think to myself it's not that bad I'll just wait a few minutes, it'll be with it. The line is moving pretty slow. It's probably been about 15 minutes before I'm even standing near the door. I was going to call a quits but I was already invested. The prices were about a dollar more for every size than anywhere else. Then I get to the counter to order, it seems that there is only one employee, which would explain the wait. I try to have some empathy because we've all been in an understaffed estaishment before. I show her the coupon while I'm ordering. She tells me that they don't accept the coupons at this location. So I've waited 30mins to order, the prices are higher than any other dq I know of in this area(about a dollar difference) , and now she won't accept the coupon I was trying to use. Not that it mattered for me because I wasn't sitting anyway, but there were only two tables (3 people max total) and one bench seat. 2 LG classic blizzards was over $15. She said there is a sign on the door that states we don't use the app. To be fair, I saw it on the way out. It was a hand written note on a sheet of paper. There was also a note about being out of hot dogs on the same sheet. But with the line the way it was, I didn't see it on my way in. I'm just disappointed that I wasted so much time. I could have gone to any other location around me and made it back quicker than that one (which is closest to me). I'm trying to be empathetic, but I feel my time was utterly wasted. My husband’s dipped cone was so smashed and misshapen that the chocolate ran down the cone and all over his hands in a mess. He handed it back and asked them to cancel his order with a refund, and they gave him kind of a hard time about it. Meanwhile, I had to ask what that pink stain was on the lid of my vanilla malted and was told “That’s the way our lids come sometimes.” I guess she meant that sometimes your lids are dirty because I passed my hand over it, and the pink came off on my hands. After seeing the fuss they made over my husband’s refund, I just threw my ice cream away. As we walked out, they told us to “have a nice day.” Not nice at all. We won’t be visiting this...
Read moreWent to DQ today to order a mint Oreo blizzard and a small shake, which was made perfectly and quickly. Staff were friendly and the store was clean and upkept. The guy in front of me was upset that the workers wouldn’t accept a screenshot of a coupon. I also used a coupon from the app, I’m assuming it was the same one he tried to use, and they took it with no problem. The guy in front of me mouthed off to the workers and made the point to state he was going to leave a review. I hope you read this review and understood what i witnessed. The manager, Katrina (he asked for her name), was polite and still handled his order with grace despite his audible complaining that she would not accept a screenshot...
