Delicious Chow Mein — Restaurant in Crystal

I dont do reviews for the most part but I thought this was the worse experience I have ever had at any place. I placed my order on line that was fine easy to do. I ordered the generals to's chicken and a order of chicken wings. When I went to pick up the order it was ready no problem with that. But when I get back to work and i was really hungry I opened the box to get ready to eat it i started to smell a burnt smell so i just looked around the checking and to see if i seen anything burnt in there. I started pulling out big pieces of burnt peppers and it was mix all through the food so it was hard not to take a bit of the burnt food. it smelt and tasted burnt. I called and spoke to someone about my issue and I let them know that it doesn't taste very well it tastes like it it burnt. I was told that no its not burnt that is there style and that they like it to be crispy well i dont care about the crispy part thats fine but the food tastes burnt she then again told me no its not burnt and told me that this is the way they make it and i shouldn't order it again . she didnt even care about the fact that i was not happy and didnt even try to help fix the issue. I remember ordering from this restaurant 10-15 years ago, and loving their Cantonese pan fried noodles. Our family laughed at the couple fighting, and the food was always delicious. It's been about 5 years since I last ordered, and I was excited to see that they were still around! I called in our order, and was surprised at how rude/short the woman was on the phone. I was even more surprised at how bad the food was. The cream cheese wontons are literally inedible- my boyfriend hurt his teeth chewing one, and I tried salvaging them by wrapping one in a wet paper towel but that didn't help. The filling is as sweet as icing. The fried rice is okay, very oily with little flavor. The sesame chicken was very tough under the breading. The house cantonese pan fried noodles were also disappointing. The beef and pork are very tough, veggies are mushy, and the shrimp were smaller than my pinky nail. The egg foo young patties were good, but the sauce they were in was very salty. I'm sad to say I won't be ordering again, this was hands down the worst takeout...

I’ve been here about 3 times and really don’t know why I come back other than proximity. The service is absolutely disgraceful and rude from the old woman at the register. No hello or welcome when you walk and she rushes you to order and does not communicate well at all. If you call ahead on the phone (which is not answered often) she is very inaudible and even more rude. Their prices are completely different than online as well and more expensive. The food is standard and decent enough but the service is just not worth it. Also when you enter inside the restaurant there are like three tables to sit at and it’s extremely dirty all around. I get that these people are mom and pop elderly but that does not give them a pass to be extremely rude and not responsive over the...
