Captain D's — Restaurant in Cullman

Last time we ordered the seafood feast we only got 2 plates of fish, 1 full plate of hush puppies, and a plate with some fries in it, not even the amount you would normally get with the seafood feast order. We tried calling the restaurant to tell them about our order but could not get anyone to answer the phone! We live 20 minutes from the store to begin with. But when they won’t answer your call how are you supposed to get your order straightened out? So when I went tonight and ordered I told the young lady at the drive thru what had happened and all she had to say was… okay, can I have your order? I hope my meal is really good tonight because it’s my last trip! At $40.00 an order and not be able to get your order right, much less anyone at least saying I’m sorry! There’s too many places here to eat and that will appreciate me spending my money at their restaurant. To have to be treated like your being a weekly customer doesn’t matter and that will not only correct my order. But they do treat you with respect...

My family and I decided to eat here around 2:15pm this afternoon. The young lady taken orders inside was not very friendly! They were out of grilled talipia, and didn't know when it would be available again. A lot of the food we ordered was over cooked to the point were some of it was too hard to eat( hush puppies, fries, chicken, catfish). Portions were very small ( a lot smaller than normal). Our son's kids meal had bigger portions than our adult meals!! Another young lady was sweeping in the dining area while we were eating. She was so close to us that her butt was basically in our faces and just about touching our table for a very long!! That's disgusting and freaking ridiculous!! She should have waited till us and another older couple were done eating before cleaning in that area. My family loves Captain D's and this is by far the worst location that we've ever eaten at. Called in our order so the store would have a heads up. Told them I would be there between 12:30 and 12:45. Drove into the drive thru at 12:13 because I knew it was after church and there would be a line. Left at 1:20. Yes, we were in line that long. I know there is a worker shortage. I know it was Sunday. Therefore I CALLED IT IN EARLY. The car started to overheat and we used quite a bit of gas just sitting there. And then paid over $50 for our food. No apology. No discount. No piece of pie and a smile. Nothing. When they did hand us the bags, I specifically asked if the tartar and cocktail sauces were in there. Yes ma'am. Guess what wasn't in the bags......
