ToGo order I had Fajitas Mexicana, my husband had fiesta nachos, kids always get chicken and rice no veggies. Food is wonderful. Seasoned very well. Chips not so great, they are kinda thin and stale. Salsa is mediocre.

Service was really good. The guy who took my order repeated it back to me and was very polite saying yes ma'am and thank you etc... The girl at the register when I got there was very friendly also thanking me and wishing me a good evening.

What I don't like.... And my advice to you!! Use cash when you eat here. They charge you a processing fee on all credit card orders. I noticed it varies depending on price of order I suppose? Also my friend went the next day with her mom and they each ordered a margarita. They noticed after they left they had been charged the credit card tax and an alcohol tax!! I believe they are not allowed to tax the alcohol separate that is supposed to be added in with your regular tax. So if you do decide to dine here.... Remember to use cash and don't order any drinks!

*Attached is my friends receipt!! If you look at the last...

Have always had decent service and the food is usually good. Bad news is, somebody there has held onto my credit card information and has been trying to charge just short of $50.00. Against it for the past 3 weeks. Fortunately, that card has expired, so, no charges against it. Just keep getting the declined notification. Never going back to this place again.

Update: Spoke withe the owner of Margaronas and discussed with him when the attempted charges were made. He was puzzled by this information because at the times the attempts were made, the register is locked and he is the only one with the key. Their bank runs their days charges in a batch process and he believed that the charge against the expired card was stuck in some kind of loop. He promised to contact his bank and get them to flush that transaction. As of this morning, the last attempt to charge the expired card was 10/7, almost a week ago. Technology does great things, we just need to help it out sometimes. I find Margarinas and their team are very prompt and conscientious. Great response to a...

Our daughter and son in-law took us to Margaronas tonight. The restaurant is really a nice place. It is clean, and the seating is in a large open area. We did not feel the tables were placed too close and the lighting was about as it should be. The gentlemen that took care of us did a really good job. We were a group of eight and he had our drinks on the table shortly after we sat down. He gave us time to look over the menu and then took our orders. Our food came quickly and everything was as we ordered. Our glasses were kept full and we had a good evening. The reason for the rating of three is based on consistancy. We have found that the food can be exceptional on one visit and not so good on the next. Tonight was what we would call pretty good. My feeling is that every business has to decide what it wants to be. They then need to provide a food that is consistant. People should know what to expect every trip in. Margaronas needs to be more consistant. We know they are capeable of hitting the mark of excellent but they do not hit it...

Today I ate at Margaronas for the fifth time, and I am finally leaving a review. Almost every time I have gone, the food has blown me away. Today I had the Rice Deluxe for lunch. Add some salsa (and I personally add mushrooms) and that dish is perfect (pictured in review). BUT, my absolute favorite is the Costa Quesadilla. Great taste, great textures, amazing price. The Costa Quesadilla is my go-to meal. That, combined with the thin, crispy, flavorful chips, the delicious salsa, and the perfection that is the homemade margarita, I can practically guarantee that you will love this restaurant. If you want Mexican food in Cullman, go here. You will not regret it.

Usually I don't eat Mexican food that much but when I was there I ordered the porky. which was pork Tibet sauteed in barbecue sauce french fries and some cheese over over the pork. I live in Michigan but I was down there visiting and after my cousin's graduation we went there to eat everything was perfect I'll definitely go back and I recommend people if they're in the Cullman. To stop in and get a bite to eat there.
