After spending the entire day in a car traveling and checking into a nearby hotel, the group of people I was with and myself decided on something quick and comforting that we could enjoy back in our rooms. This was the wrong Wendy's!! Though our group all had issues at this location, my experience started with the cashier. I ordered a combo with the sandwich plain and another sandwich plain as well. I noticed on my receipt that only the combo was plain. When the cashier returned to the counter, I let him know so that it could be corrected. He went to the person making the sandwiches, which I can only assume to be the manager due to her overwhelming sense of entitlement. She literally told him that it was too late and made him tell me himself. I do not blame the cashier because things like this happen and can be easily corrected, I blame the horrid manager/employee that actually touched my food for not even offering to address the issue or having the nerve to tell me herself that she was refusing to make things right because she couldn't be bothered with such an intense extra workload. I told him very loudly that I did not want the mistake and to just keep it; it was a few dollars and not worth arguing anymore. He responded that they would have to throw it away, so I told him to put it in the bag. By now I was so irritated that my intention was to unwrap the sandwich and throw it directly at her face as I left. Fortunately for her, someone else in my group was not so petty and said he would eat it himself. I am sure if I had thrown it at her, she would have made someone else clean it up anyway, making the entire point mute. This is by far the worst food and experience I have ever had from a Wendy's and it is not the first one that I've been to connected to a gas station. There is no excuse! I would only recommend this location if you are looking to entertain a large group of children or drunken teenagers because although the food here isn't worth eating, it does appear to be the perfect location for a memorable, spontaneous food fight. I am sure the manager will fully support such activities because she obviously doesn't care about her employment obligations begin with and it would be too much effort of an extenuating effort for her to intervene. Bottom line of this review: Food, quality, timing and service 👎. Wearing protective clothing and making it into a carefree event of fun excitement with your friends and family, maybe even your enemies 👍. You can all gather at a different nearby restaurant afterwards if you are hungry, but as so many other reviews here have clearly stated: Do...
Read moreWe drove 40 minutes just to eat at a Wendy's. The restaurant was so cold a woman was sitting with her winter snow jacket on. It was 60 degrees outside and actually warmer. We wanted to sit down and eat inside, so I walked next door and bought a long sleeve shirt. But my husband couldn't even handle how cold it was, so we left. One gentleman who had ordered before we placed our order, was still standing waiting on his order after we received ours, and we were three orders behind him! The chocolate frosty was out, so we settled for vanilla, the fountain had no ice and no Coke, Dr. Pepper or Root Beer, we settled for the first working drink and got Sprite. I'll say it was the best part of the meal. My single had a small patty, I'll assume a junior burger patty, covered in mayonnaise and was actually cold and messy! I'd like to say the bun I paid for was good but it wasn't! The fries were cold and old! My husband got the baconator, and said his was cold as well! For $31.00, it's on the top of my list of...
Read moreAn employee went into the restroom and stole my 70 year old mother's makeup bag. She walked right back in after she left it. Cashier was walking out and it was gone. She lied obviously and got mad that my mom said people that steal are pathetic. Snapped back with sorry she fel that way! Um! That's how anyone would feel! It wasn't expensive makeup but it was all my mom had. My dad had just passed and she was living in her car. She cried all the way back to Mobile. She was in Cullman to see my sister. This was about 2 or so years ago. I immediately left a review but checked recently because it crossed my mind if anyone ever replied. If the trash that did that and she knows who she is look me up on FB. Send me a pm. Not only stealing from anyone but the elderly and a stranger's used makeup. Lost her home of 20 years and her husband I over 50 for the thieving trash to steal a $5 makeup bag with cheap makeup my mom has bought over the last 5 years. Was nothing anyone of her social status...
