Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Cullman

I reviewed this location four months ago and gave it four stars. This trip was a disaster between incompetance and quality. First the lady at the counter register was clueless. I ordered two two piece chicken dinners. She entered it as a large combo which I did not know until she ran my card through the system. She then gave me two large cups which I told her I did not want drinks. She told me I had to take the drinks as the two piece dinner can not be ordered without a drink. I believe she was too lazy to give me the credit I had coming to me. The chicken was almost tasteless as I ordered spicy and she entered original. It was not good. My wifes fries were old. The coleslaw was okay. I always enjoy Popeys when we travel. The mac and cheese tasted like it had been sitting forever. Being 6 PM I thought everything would be fresh but I was wrong. had to say my order multiple times to have it repeated back right, which would be fine if the girl didn’t get an attitude about being corrected. when i pulled forward, i sat there and waited with two of the women arguing in front of the open window. what i assume was most of the staff were propped up against or on the counters while i sat there, were talking to eachother or on their phones. eventually they noticed my food was ready.

got home and astonishingly, the food was wrong. called twice, was hung up on the second they heard the word complaint. went up there and they denied us ever calling, laughing the entire time. we’ve had multiple issues at this establishment and will be returning to figure out the chain of command there and talk about the unprofessionalism with whoever can sort out the...

My family and I were just inside this location and we ordered two Shrimp Tackle Boxes. Upon looking at the receipt it said two $5 boxes and we were confused so we asked.. no real answer was given. My mom waited for about 15 minutes only for the guy to turn around and try to give us the wrong food (chicken strips is not in any way related to shrimp ) and my mom proceeded to wait another 30 before she got a manager who had gone into the gas station to get coffee and when she came over SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO RING UP A REFUND!!! Finally we got our money back and not only that but the men inside were getting their money back too because they got raw chicken.
