The Skinny: Good honest food, this is like mama cooks, home style. Be aware: Closed on Mondays. Susies's Q's reminds me of many of my fondest New Orleans eateries. "A hole in the wall" LOCALS don't want you to know about, because, then, they got to Wait LONGER to get a table. The wait staff, actually, said "Welcome" and meant it. You can tell a lot about a place from the wait staff, these folks were smiling and happy to be there, you will to, if you eat here. My waitress, said: "Are you staving, or is the food that good?" And, we both laughed. As, Bob Barker use to say: "Come on Down!" PS I saved my TX Toast so I could get the last of the collard's liquor. And, the sweet potato fries have a light cinnamon rub....mmmmm.

What an incredible new local spot! Please support local businesses! Decided to stop in for Sunday breakfast with my in-laws and discovered it is family owned and operated. It was busy but everyone was so friendly and the food came out pretty fast. Cozy country cooking with breakfast available all day! My country fried steak biscuit was so good my husband regretted not getting it, and he’s a classic homestyle breakfast kind of man. My father in-law is named Dave just like the owner so they had a cute chat. You won’t want to miss out on this gem!

First off, we used to visit here when it was Big Ds, we loved the breakfast then. First time we got to get in for breakfast with the new name. Pancakes - yep, still big and good. Our waitress was true Southern funny and fun. Ask for her if you can. Jamie!!! The biscuits come with all the fav meats you might want and cheese, eggs, you know, a breakfast biscuit. Check them out for breakfast and enjoy it, it's great. Oh yeah, we had some friends from Bama in and the liked it also, normally the Bama peeps only like Roll Tide related fair. 🤣.

First time coming to this restaurant. Me and the 2 people I was with sat at a table as soon as we walked in. It looked decently busy, but definitely manageable. Server took 5 minutes to ask us for drinks and our food, and we didn't even get the drinks until 18 minutes after that, and our food came out 2 minutes after the drinks. Our server even made a comment that she was glad that our drinks came before our food, as though she was not in control of bringing it to us. Every other table that was seated after us had their drink order taken and delivered almost immediately. I almost got up and left, but she just got us the drinks. We waited a little longer and when we saw our food, we all knew that it wasn't going to be very good. We got 2 of the Grand Platter and 1 Mushroom and Swiss. The sausage was burnt, the pancakes were somehow burnt and tasted like a crappy mix, the eggs were simultaneously runny and thick and, again, tasted just like a mix, the hashbrowns looked undercooked, and the Mushroom and Swiss came out without any mushrooms. The food could only be described as "edible" and even that's a stretch. Even the service when I was paying managed to be terrible. If you want a good brunch spot in the area, I would strongly recommend Reveille, or even...

This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. When we walked in we were seated very quickly and given menus. That was the end of our pleasant experience. Several other tables were seated and given drinks while we waited. The server actively ignored us. Eventually she realized that we were still sitting there she took our drink order along with our food order. Then she went back to ignoring us. Just as we were about to give up and cut our losses, after over 15 minutes of no drinks, we were given drinks. When the food came out it was just sad. My burger consisted of 2 items; mushrooms and swiss, they somehow managed to get that wrong and did not include the mushrooms. We were able to somehow get the servers attention long enough to get the mushrooms. When it was time to pay shockingly we could not find her. We went to the front and paid there. I normally give grace to every server because I was one for several years, but this was beyond what I...

Never written a review before this but we went during lunch and waited for a few minutes then got seated. Waited about twenty minutes before they asked what we would like to eat. Another group (of the same size) had already gotten their food by now while we were still waiting. After finally ordering the food came out fairly quick but after getting the food we waited for another 30 minutes before receiving the check. Never got a single refill the entire time and all of our waters were empty shortly after receiving the food. Waitress just kept serving other tables and forgetting about us I guess. Was excited to try this new place out but honestly a let-down. Food wasn't anything special and portion sizes small. Everyone seemed to be very friendly...a little too friendly. Our waitress was talking with another table for about ten minutes while we just sit waiting on refills...
