This is a great BJ's location. 10% discount for Apple employees, excluding specials, to be precise. Speaking of which, they have a spacious bar area with high tops and a communal table where you have to sit to get the happy hour deals. I would say the food options for happy hour aren't that delicious relative to most other items on the menu. But at least you get to try some things you normally would never be interested in ordering. In terms of drinks, I think their beers are the best. I went this week for pi day where they had personal pizzas for $3.14 as they do every year. However, this year you could pick one topping of your choice instead of it being cheese/pepperoni. And boy, do they have a great range of toppings, including anchovies AND sardines. We also did their ~$19 deal where you can get tri tip or half a rack of ribs with two sides and a pizzokies. Now I am not going to break down how much you save. But I will say that you can get a bowl of soup as a side; in fact you can get two bowls of soup as the 2 sides and the soups alone are $10+. So the cost of 2 sides potentially is already the price of the deals. Not to mention, the pizookies are $9. I tried the broccoli cheddar soup and they really filled the bowl to the brim. That was super rich and heavy. Then, I chose the turkey chili as my second side and I was full before even my entree came. I upgraded to the full rack of ribs and they were pretty tender and came with two onion rings which is a new thing. Our waiter was amazing although parts of our order were wrong. One of the machines for ringing up the order was right behind and judging by the loud conversation of the servers literally in my ears, I surmised we could have gotten a lot crankier servers who were pretty over it. One of the awful things about this place is that they are so bad with reservations. I called and the person who answered said they only take rezzies for 8. I told him you could make reservations for parties of 2 or more online but the system was down. He said he put me on the waitlist but didn't ask me for my name and number. I asked him if he needed it and he said "yeah I can take it down". When I AM able to make online reservations, they never mark me as showing up so they obviously don't have designated tables for people who reserve it. And what happens after is I get an accusatory email from OpenTable asking why I was a no-show. I will let you judge if there are slackers who work here. The parking lot here doesn't have enough spots for how many diners usually eat here and it gets really crowded.

I hadn't set foot in this place for years—literally 4-5 years, to be exact. Recently, I decided to give it another shot, and boy, was I disappointed. I really wish I had checked the reviews before coming here. Let's rewind to the beginning: I hadn't seen my friend in a while, and as we were in the area, I remembered this place and suggested we go there. Upon walking in, we were greeted by an unfriendly host who directed us to the cocktail sitting area only, despite the rest of the restaurant being empty. I questioned why we couldn't sit elsewhere, but neither he nor another lady—who I assumed was another host—could provide a satisfactory answer. Apparently, there were no servers available, except for one who was in training. Mind you, it was 4:00 pm on a Saturday. Eventually, we were seated where we wanted, but not at the cozy booth tables; instead, we found ourselves smack in the middle of the hallway, near the cashier register. To make matters worse, all the tables around us were dirty, and two servers were standing idly, doing absolutely nothing. We placed our orders and began chatting, but the service was excruciatingly slow, and the food was just mediocre. The avocado appetizer, which used to be a favorite of mine 5 years ago, was disappointingly overcooked. The entrees were passable but nothing to write home about. Perhaps the most surprising thing of all? No coffee! Who would have thought a restaurant wouldn't offer coffee? As we were eating, a busboy appeared out of nowhere and began clearing tables single-handedly. More servers started arriving, along with more customers, and by 6:00 pm, the place was packed. Our server mentioned he was going on break and vanished for a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes. We tried to order dessert multiple times—from different servers and even a host—but kept getting the runaround. When our original server, Cameron, finally reappeared, he hadn't even placed our dessert order. After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting, we finally received our dessert. At that point, we were more intrigued to see how the service debacle would end than anything else. I'm never coming back here—never! It's clear that the management is the root of the problem. Firstly, the tables were disgustingly dirty, and no one bothered to clean them. Seriously? If you're short-staffed, at least help each other out. To the owner and general manager: Do you want your establishment to thrive or shut down? Start motivating your staff and fostering a friendly work environment. My suggestion? Hire a new manager—preferably a good one.

Overall: food is either too salty or too bland. Burgers were missing lettuce, tomato, dressing, pickles. Pasta was tasteless and depressing. Don't eat here if you have high blood pressure or heart issues. Oh, gosh. Where do I even start? This is my first time at BJ's, and if we never come back again, it will be too soon. We ordered kids' mini burgers, thinking they were so cute. But what did we get? The saddest pieces of bun and patty thrown into a box. Where was the promised lettuce, tomato, and dill pickles? We got none of that. This is insulting to kids everywhere. We got the fries though. And those were FAR too salty. Is this how BJ's wants to feed children now? Carbs and protein and an over abundance of salt? This is setting our children up for heart disease. We also ordered a kids pasta (penne with chicken in alfredo sauce). AND LET ME TELL YOU, this...tastes like the frozen pasta I can buy at Walmart for $1. The penne had no taste and the chicken was absurdly salty. The mashed potatoes were also ridiculously salty. Cardiovascular disease, anyone? We ordered an Italian chicken parmigiana pasta, and again, the pasta looked like something from a frozen pasta meal from Walmart for $1. It was really, really sad. So sad, it's actually kinda comical. Honestly, the Walmart would have been a better value. It would have been tastier and way cheaper. I suppose the one saving grace is the pizookie. I've never tried one before so I was a little excited to try it. And after disappointment after disappointment in our orders today, we flipped over the pizookie to find the saddest looking baked...thing. It looked pitiful. But you know what, it was probably the best tasting thing we've had all night. I don't have any comments on the service and atmosphere since we ordered for pick-up, but they seemed nice enough.

I honestly love the restaurant, and have been going for years. (20+ years) I haven’t gone in a few years, but I had a visitor and decided to bring them here as they have never been. Firstly the food was great and my guest enjoyed the beers and food they ordered. I would have said that it was a great experience. Only food wise. The service is what ruined our night. The server took like 20 mins to finally come to us. And it was barely busy. When they came they were friendly and everything. Very welcoming. The first bad experience was when they brought over our drinks(alcohol), when they placed it down my (already expensive) drink spills over. And pours all over the table and on me. The waiter did apologize and slowly walked to go get some napkins. And when they came back they barely wiped the table and not even looking down but talking to someone across the room. And walked away and the table was still covered with alcohol. A lot of the drink was spilled out and they didn’t even offer to remake it. We ended up cleaning up the rest. The food came a bit time later. We noticed other parties that came after us got their food before us. We didn’t see our waiter for some time. When we got the food it was great! After some time we asked a different waiter if we could get an another order of fries (since we didn’t see our waiter for some time) and then our waiter came back and asked if we wanted dessert. Of course with the famous pazookie we got one! We received the pazookie before we got our extra fries we had ordered. We got to the point of packing up our food and finally saw the waiter again and asked about our fries and they looked at me acted like I never asked for that. And went and put the order in and I was like please put to go… we paid and started leaving. We stopped by the beer fridge and thought about buying some for home since we enjoyed them. The woman working the counter across the fridge who I think was helping to-go orders was actively looking away trying to ignore us every-time we tried to grab her attention and she would run off to the kitchen. We tried multiple times to get her attention and was ignored. So we had to ask the very busy gentleman at the front desk. We felt bad as he was alone and looked busy. We waited patiently and he saw us and even though he was busy he took a moment to help us and said he could help us after he checked some people in. And we were completely understanding and waited. He went and was able to answer our questions and even went into the back to check if they had what we were asking for. Honestly the gentleman at the front desk I didn’t get his name. But he was from the most kindest and helpful. So In all, that was my review of my last visit. I would have gave one star but I gave two for the kind gentleman...

I was here around 6 pm on 7/23/19 for a friends birthday party. My friend and I have called over an hour prior to going there to reserve a table for 10 people. The lady who picked up the phone call said she wasn't sure if she was allowed to do that, so she said she will speak with our manager and left us on hold for 15 MINUTES. After about 7 minutes, my friend and I decided to just drive there since we didn't live that far and when we walked into the restaurant, we ended the phone call that we were on for over 15 minutes. We asked the person at the front and it was the same lady who we had just talked with on the phone since she immediately recognized us and started laughing to her coworkers about how we decided to come in the restaurant in front of our faces. She said there would be a table ready by 6:30, so we left and met with the other people who were attending the party. We arrived to bj's at 6:33 exactly and the same lady at the front was getting very mad about how she texted us that the table was ready a few minutes ago and started asking us where we went. She then told us that since we were a few minutes late, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the table to be ready. When we finally got to sit at the table, the waiter took over 20 minutes to come ask us what we wanted to drink, and since it took so long, we just ordered the food right away. The food took over 30 minutes to come, and also two of the orders were completely wrong, so they had to wait another 20 minutes for their food to be ready. When my friend corrected the waiter that he had been given the wrong order, the waiter started to tell my friend that he had ordered something else, which was just completely wrong. My friend paid for everyone since it was his birthday. My friend brought $200 exactly since we weren't expecting the bill to be that high since most people were sharing meals. The total bill came out to $197. Since my friend had only brought $200, he couldn't give a reasonable amount for a tip, so he just decided to pay the $200 fully and told the waiter to keep the change and thanked him. A few minutes later, the waiter returned my friends $3 and said "you're going to need this more than I do". THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. I understand the tip should have been higher, but my friend did not bring enough money, so there was nothing he could do. Tipping waiters is customary, even though everyone should tip, IT IS NOT REQUIRED and SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED BY A WAITER. SO FOR THE WAITER TO COME BACK WITH THE MONEY AND SAY A STATEMENT LIKE THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. I already have let a lot of friends and family who dine at bj's very often know about this and they said they will definitely not be...
