Update 12.17.23. This pho hoa is definitely better than the de Anza one, and it's cheaper too. I ended up downloading the app and getting a few gift cards. I order through the app maybe two to three times a week now, and the steak and brisket pho I get is only $13.95 before tax. definitely cheaper than the de Anza pho, and it's crazy because the quality of all the ingredients is better too. Also, through the app rewards, I seem to get almost one free egg roll every time I go in. Makes me very happy 🙂. Service is good too. Since my last post, I have basically not had to wait more than one or two minutes after arriving to be able to pick up my order. This place is awesome! I tried two different pho hoas, this one on homestead, and the one on South de Anza. Homestead one it's a little more expensive. Around $18 for a regular after tax. I'll split it between meals or split half as a meal and half as a snack later because I'm poor for now lol. I'm not a huge eater, so the amount this homestead one gives is enough for around 2 meals for me. Service was a little bit slower though, but might be because I went at a busier time (~1:20pm) The one on South de Anza is a little bit cheaper. Around a $16 after tax. Definitely not enough to split between meals. But the service is much quicker. It has always been ready and waiting for me as soon as I arrived.

Came here with my dad on a weekday lunch and was seated immediately. Food: We got the brisket and meatballs pho and one had flat noodles and one with regular noodles. The pho was decent but not anything too special. It was pretty salty and the flat noodles didn’t add too much to the dish and made it harder to pick up the noodles so I almost preferred the regular noodles. The meat was a bit bland and rough as well. The potion sizes were also quite small compared to other pho places. Service: The service is a saving grace here because it’s super quick and our food came in less than 5 minutes and the waiter was super nice! Ambiance: Super casual and easy place to get in and out of. Overall, not super impressed, but it did fill my pho craving.

My fiancé and I stopped by Pho Hoa Noodle Soup on Homestead and had a solid meal. We ordered the Vietnamese Beef Stew and the Vegetarian Pho. The beef stew was really flavorful — the brisket chunks were tender, juicy, and cooked just right. There was a generous portion of noodles, maybe a bit too much, which left us wanting more of that rich broth. A touch more spice would’ve taken it to the next level, but overall it hit the spot. The vegetarian pho was clean and light, with a nice assortment of vegetables that made it feel balanced and satisfying. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something on the healthier side. Service was quick and the space was casual but comfortable. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Based on the photo in their menu, I ordered their seafood soup to go because it looked awesome.

When I opened it, there were 3 tiny shrimps instead of three large juicy prawns like on the photo, absolutely no squid, unlike those 4 juicy pieces of squid on their menu photo, 3 over-boiled piece of salmon, that literally tasted like cardboard because they were overcooked, and a bunch of cheap fish balls that are jot even in the photo.

The photos were taken by a professional photographer and most likely a long time ago, and they DO NOT reflect the reality of what you get today.

This restaurant cuts the corners and deceives their customers, I can’t recommend it unless you like to be lied to.

Another thing to note: I ordered a take out and they told me to wait 10-15 minutes and they would call me, so I sat in front of the register, but 20-25 min passed and I went to check on my order because it was way too long, and there it was: sitting on the take out table inside their kitchen, but nobody even had a remote thought to notify me that it was ready. Excellent service! They charge you for the take out plastic as well, so I guess I was “lucky” they did not build-in tips into their price like other pho restaurants are...

Visiting the area and this is my favourite restaurant for fresh, enjoyable food. Good quality hand sanitiser at every table. Decent restrooms. Seating area beside restrooms so you can wait if needed. Very friendly and professional staff, esp the one shorter, slim young lady who is always smiling, she's always very pleasant. But they're all very nice. You're allowed to share food, different staff have asked about whether I'd like to share as I don't specify my own order usually (i have my partner give my order so we order in one go). Which he also thought was considerate of them to check (and bring an extra bowl etc). Only one type of bahn mi sold and it's really nice and comes with fried egg. Pho is yummy with plenty of meat and veggies. But my fav is their summer roll that I've gotten others onto as it's really nice and fresh. Always feels clean overalll, and has a bright and...
