We are very excited that Cushing finally got another option. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and very well done on the physical layout. The waiting area could use some work, as there were probably 20 people waiting and only enough room in the waiting area for like 4 people.
We went during either opening week or the week after. As a whole our experience was decent. It wasn’t fantastic, but it was probably a lot of new restaurant jitters.
We tried to order a few different appetizers, but we were told that both of them were sold out for the night. We settled on the artichoke dip as our third choice. It tasted pretty decent. About average for store bought. The amount of dip was far greater than the number of mini naan that they gave you. I do wish that they made some homemade flatbread or something to serve with this rather than what tasted like stonefire brand mini naans from Walmart. I think that’s a bit of a missed opportunity when there are $40-60k worth of gorgeous brand new brick ovens in the kitchen.
As for the pizza itself (The Beast aka pepperoni), I wasn’t crazy about the flavor of the pepperoni that they use, and the underside of the crust was covered in burnt rice flour or whatever they use as a non-stick when they slide the pizzas into the oven. I have to assume he burnt flavor is from the oven not being fully swept when they’re busy, so the old flour has time to sit there and burn before the next pizza comes in to bake on top of it. I could be wrong, but that’s my guess on it.
The red sauce however was absolutely phenomenal. Definitely a huge fan of that. Also, they have the good ranch dressing. Any ranch lovers will know what that means.
Our server was fantastic. She was highly attentive, and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. I believe it was Reagan or something like that. She was awesome and definitely was the highlight of the trip.
We’ll be back someday soon to give them another shot. I don’t doubt at all that they could be a 5 star restaurant once they settle into things a bit more.
Also as a side note, I think waters were 50¢ each since you get to keep the cups....

Read moreI have eaten here four times. The food is good quality. It is a little expensive, but the spaghetti and meatballs can be shared. The place is clean, and it is nicely decorated.
Today we ate there in a group of six for lunch. When it was time to pay the server let me know it was $27.46 for tea, a side salad and spaghetti and meatballs. She did NOT give receipts before we paid. I asked if she charged me for a salad $9 or a side salad $5. She said a side salad. I was surprised the price was so high, but gave her $33 to include a tip. The next person (and maybe the next two people paid) and I asked if the tips were included in the initial amount. She said yes. I told the members of the group who had not paid that the tip was already included. They thanked me for this information.
I was charged $4.58 for a tip on a $20.89 bill. Because she did NOT give us a receipt and did not tell us that she included the tip, I have her another $5.50 when I paid. My total tip on a $20.89 bill was $10.08. She did give us our receipts AFTER we paid because many of us would be reimbursed. I literally gave her $33 in cash. ($21 in food and $2 in sales tax and the rest was a tip).
I like to tip well, but usually don't hit 50%. The server was deliberately misleading. She should have printed and given us the receipts before we paid, or told us the gratuity was included. Other members of the group were dismayed as well. Tippers beware!
Godofredos, it was table 23 and the check number was 66 on 1-13-23. (If you ask me to I will remove this review. I just want the served to know this wasn't a good move!)
Go there. Don't hurt a small business. Just ask for your bill before you settle up! No...
