Garden of Eat-In — Restaurant in Cut Bank

The daily special is always different and you will need to get there early because it usually runs out quickly due to demand. Unless you are really hungry only order the half sized sandwiches. The owners are usually there and everyone is friendly. The staff does a great job preparing wonderful meals, keeping the place clean, and providing that hometown feel. IMHO this is the best place to eat in Cut Bank. Problem is they only serve breakfast and lunch and are not open on the weekend. Breakfast is from 7 – 10 AM known as time for the coffee drinkers. I had the Polar Dip and the Poutine. The poutine was excellent. I would have preferred the cheese curds to not be fried, but other than that it was delicious. Now, the polar dip.... I have a big problem there. The a half of this sandwich costs $10.75 and it comes with a couple slices each of turkey, pastrami, and two cheeses. Not a great value, but the wort part was that the sandwich was MICROWAVED... The bread was hard when it came to my table and I could only eat half the sandwich. Majorly disappointing. An unexpected delight in a small town. The food portions were very generous and delicious! The huckleberry lemonade was also a sweet treat. We had been driving all day and didn't want fast food again. We saw the restaurant by chance on a side street, stopping around 3 pm. They close at 4, but we easily ordered and finished eating without any pressure to leave sooner. The dining room is self seating with large tables for a family.
