am Medical Traveler from Texas; my agency booked a hotel at Super 8 in Cut Bank , Montana. I arrived to Super 8 on (Saturday) May 2, 2020. Since arrival , I received the most inappropriate behavior from This location. The staff at this establishment are inefficient, Prejudice, unfriendly, inept , and, unknowledgeable, unprofessional. Furthermore , I experienced three uncomfortable and unprofessional situations and in my opinion racially inspired situations.
The first incident occurred upon checking in. When checking in at Super 8. The Caucasian attendant began to ask questions in regards to my employment and reason for being in the area. After hearing I am a medical professional she then stated “Oh you’re here making all the money.” Because I am Minority - hence non Caucasian . I guess I simply cannot make more than she does.
Secondly, my first night staying at this establishment . I woke up the next morning with sharp acute pain radiating from my lower back to my shoulders. I began inspection of the the mattress. As I inspected the room . I noticed damage from overuse of both mattress and box spring. I asked the same attendant would it be possible to move to different room with possibly firmer mattresses. The attendant immediately became agitated and combative stating “Well Browning Blackfeet Hospital where you are working is in Quarantine and we are concerned about you coming in and out of our hotel anyway!" After explaining to her I’m an Essential worker this doesn’t apply. She neglectfully and reluctantly issued another room.
Finally, The third incident occurred the next Saturday . I had to go a(n) an entire week without a change of sheets and towels at my discretion. However , I turned my sheets and towels in on Saturday morning to get a new set of sheets. Thirty minutes later the same Caucasian attendant calls me and asks “what happen to my sheet and towels”. Adding,”there was blood on them”. I explained to her I started my menstrual and had an accident. She then tells me not to use the towels or sheets and if I am going to bleed let her know because otherwise they will have to throw them away because bleeding on them ruins them! "
Why do I need to let her know when I bleed is she the menstrual police or maybe she plans to catch it with a cup! As a woman , it's not easy to control your menstrual cycle bleeding . Especially , when it starts .
Although, I feel as this location needs to be formally investigated and actions need to be taken place to ensure that future residents don't encounter the most uncomfortable situations.
I do not recommend anyone to stay here . Please go somewhere else All above scenarios shows the lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism that this location has .
I reached out to corporate office and BBB to make a formal complaint. They explained they would investigate...
Read moreI would never stay here again or any other super 8 again. Was the most filthiest place I have ever stayed. We stayed here for my cousins wake and funeral which we were late for due to them “pushing check in back”. While we watched like 5 of employees hanging out front of the building smoking on the dab pens (I work for a dispensary) While we and many other people waiting out in the parking lot to check in including 2 very hot crying kids. They didn’t even attempt or help accommodating anyone. Also we didn't see when booking that if you book and pay cash you have to give them an extra $200 deposit on top of your room fee we only had very little money due to our family passing and scarped what we had together just to get the room. We didn’t have an extra $200 laying around. Thankfully my brother in law payed it on his card instead so we could finally check in and make it to see our family. I don’t understand why they have such a terrible policy when the rooms were filthy our room had blood on the wall by the plugin, you can tell the sheets and beds weren’t changed there was so many questionable stains and hairs on them (we went and got our sleeping bags to sleep in so we didn’t lay on the dirty sheets) the bathroom counter had dirt all over it, was not vacuumed there was someone stickers from new clothes stuck to the carpet and a sock in there. Window also was broke. And had just a piece of cardboard over it. Microwave was broken and toilet backed up in the night. After checking in late here comes the house keepers at 8:30 am waking everybody up knocking on the door for checkout even though check out isn’t until 11 am. They knocked on our door 3 times while we were getting ready. We were still out before 11. Granted we weren’t even able to get back to the hotel and sleep until 2am. The breakfast is sad all they have is cereal and microwaveable food. I waited out there at least 30 minutes just to heat up oatmeal because there was so many people trying to use this one little microwave. And there’s a big note saying “breakfast food in not permitted to leave breakfast area” so you aren’t even allowed to get food and bring it to your room. Also when walking into the hotel the first floor smells like urine. I’ve stayed at many different places and worked at a hotel they take absolutely no pride in there work there and should be embarrassed. You would think with very little options to stay they would want to provide there guests with at least a clean room and hot meal. I’m originally from cut bank and they have such a beautiful location and so much potential if they tried or cared. But sadly they...
Read moreAn absolute nightmare! First of all, I am a Disabled, US Army Veteran. I was in Cut Bank for medical appointments at the Logan Health Hospital, and to the VA Clinic. As I checked into Super 8, the man infront of me supposedly got the last room on the 1st floor, I heard the front desk clerk say. So when it was my turn to check in, I get the 3rd floor, with NO ELEVATOR,ALL STAIRS! I took my time and got to my room. Took out some food I had bought before checking in, and thought I could enjoy some tv before going to bed. Half way through the movie, the tv cut out, and attempted to "re-load". It never re-loaded, and after I cut it off to go back down to my car, and returned to the room, turned on the tv and got a blank screen with HDM12. I phoned the front desk only to hear that the clerk was looking for me about my payment card. Then she wanted to come up and get my card to take downstairs and process it. When the clerk came up and checked the tv, she claimed to not know what was wrong with it. I went downstairs with her to find that the tv in the lobby was working just fine, as well as other rooms!. She claimed that the internet was going down, or some "technical problem", and she needed to put my card through. Then changed it to, she'll let it get processed in the morning.|I returned to my room and since there was no tv for me, decided to take a shower and go to bed. 5 minutes into putting my head on the wrinkled and obviously Not Clean sheets ( which I had covered up with my own sheet from home)...the heating/cooling unit came on, and it sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof!! NO SLEEP FOR ME!|So, since the clerk couldn't get my card to go through, I was punished by having NO TV, and the noisiest room in the motel!!!???|I got up next morning, and someone knocked on my door saying "house keeping", and that the clerk needed to see me downstairs....STILL 2 HOURS TO CHECKOUT!??|I packed, went downstairs and checked out, paid for the lousy room, got a "COPY OF A RECEIPT", And left!|I don't care if it's -55 in a blizzard, I'd rather freeze to death in a snow storm than to ever set foot in that hellhole again!!|Now I know why the VA doesn't use that place for veterans to stay in!!! Not disability friendly, treat some folks like they're not worthy of staying in their 1 star motel, but they want the payment, regardless of how miserable the customer's stay was !!! |"Wyndham" should be ashamed to have its name attached to such a...
