Listen… I’m a Seattle transplant. We practically bleed espresso up there, and we know our coffee like Texans know their brisket. So believe me when I say: Bad Ass Coffee is the real deal.
First off, let’s talk about the genius move of freezing actual coffee into the ice cubes. Do you know how many times I’ve had to fight back tears watching my perfect iced coffee get watered down into brown sadness? Blasphemy! Not here. At Bad Ass Coffee, they’ve solved this crime against humanity. Coffee cubes = undiluted joy until the very last sip. Now, here’s how far gone I am: I had this coffee once and then willingly drove 45 minutes (yes, in Houston traffic, which is basically penance for something terrible I did in a past life) just to get my fix again. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
So here’s my desperate plea: Bad Ass Coffee, please—on behalf of this caffeine-dependent Seattle girl—open a location closer to Humble/Kingwood. I need you. My sanity needs you. My family needs me to have you (trust me, I’m much nicer with good coffee in hand).
Until then, I’ll keep burning gas and time just to taste this liquid gold. But if you move closer? I might actually start believing in miracles.
Stay bad ass. Stay...
Read more📣 Have you ever been so excited about something you just want to tell everyone you see? That’s exactly how I feel about BadAss Coffee of Hawaii in Cypress! 🌺 After A LOT of coffee let downs lately I am so glad to have found this hidden gem! 💎
☀️If you’re in the area you must stop by! 🚙 (Fry & 290 or Barker Cypress & 290) my favorite is the Barker Cypress location, ask for Barista, August (I swear this girl was made to be a barista!)
🧋🧊 For all my iced coffee lovers, they make their ice cubes from coffee so your coffee never gets watered down, only more flavorful! Drinking it transports you to the beaches of Hawaii, it’s like waking up on island paradise with every sip. 🏝️🌊 Most importantly they are consistent and absolutely know how to make a good coffee every time. ☕️
🤙🏻 They are chill and super friendly, even saying Aloha as they greet you, the place is a whole vibe! I haven’t had a flavor I didn’t like but my absolute favorite is the Pina Colada Oat Milk Shaken Espresso🧉 - chefs kiss! 🤌🏻 (made the way an iced coffee should be made) So if you’re in the area, give them a go but be warned, it will ruin you on any other coffee shops...
Read moreI went through the drive through with an estimation it would take 10 minutes max. I was wrong, it took like 30. I was thinking to myself, “that’s fine, they’re new, so let’s give them the benefit of the doubt”. (Adding this to inform I’m not just here to slander these people) Anyway, I received my coffee (a monkey mocha), tasted it, was disappointed. I was drastically disappointed because it tasted burnt, almost like a Starbucks burnt taste, and knew this was abnormal because I have gotten this drink before at the location on Fry and loved it very much, I even told my friends! Again, I decided to give this establishment some grace because the coffee is relatively palatable, just not up to my preconceptions. About 5 minutes after I received my coffee, I got my sandwich and drove home. You can imagine my dismay when I opened my bad and my sausage egg and cheddar sandwich was burnt to a crisp. :(. I will provide a picture of the sandwich. I’m not asking for a refund, but I understand how valuable google reviews are to the customer...
