I checked in on 1/13/2022 for a 2 night stay. Upon entering our room (413) we sprayed our room with Lysol as I normally do at hotels. Preparing for my shower I noticed the toilet was soiled inside the bowl as well as underneath the rim. I packed my things returned to registration and was given room 107 upon entering clean towels were in the trash and a wash cloth on top of the closed toilet lid. Shower floor had built up soap scum and stain on the wall outside of the bathroom .Again, returned to checkin counter to inform Jennifer V. of the problem with second room. At which time she asked that I show her the problem which I did. Jennifer became confrontational about the status of room 107. I informed Jennifer I appreciate her feedback, however I would need to leave the hotel and would like a refund. Customer Service then plummeted to below zero. I was refused a refund and was charged for a full 1 night stay. She explained the process I should follow for the refund which I began immediately. While I remained in the hotel lobby, Jennifer proceeded to talk about me and the concerns I brought forward with another colleague on her cell phone. I could not believe what I was hearing. Jennifer was very confrontational with her tone, body language and verbal communication with me. I left the hotel in complete shock of what I had just experienced. I would not recommend this property due to lack of cleanliness and most importantly the extremely poor customer service by Jennifer V. I have been a long time Marriott customer and have never had this type of experience at any property. I am very appreciative of ALL the frontline workers who show up to provide a service during this difficult time. Though it is a stressful time good customer service should still be provided...

I wanted to get out of the house for a fun weekend in Cypress with my fiance, so I reserved the room online and set up some activites in the area. I reserved the King size suite on the top floor. Check in is at 3pm and we were there by 3:10.
Our room was not ready and the attendant tried to assure us they were working on it, but could only offer us a seat in the lobby with some complimentary Gatorade. An hour later we got our keys to go up. We had to rush, because one of our activities had already started.
Our room was spacious, as expected, bed was comfy, everything worked fine. The room was really warm and later that night it took a while to cool off. While we were waiting on keys, we wondered over to the pool area. The photos online made it look really nice, but in person, it really lacks the appeal. Square cube with water. No chairs, umbrellas or anything to make it feel like more.
We had no time to inspect everything before we had to leave. That night there was some sort of gathering of motorcycles, high powered cars and massive trucks that seemed to make noise until about 3am. It was out of the hotel's control, but it was still a nuisance before the cops broke it up.
That next morning, we realized there was no toilet paper in the bathroom, so that was an awkward wait. However, once we got up and going the breakfast bar was really nice and had good selections for a hot breakfast before getting ready to head out.
All in all, it was decent, but at $170.00, your money could be best spent elsewhere unless you get a cheaper room on a lower floor. It didn't help that we felt like an afterthought when we showed up. Not the best or the worst, but we probably won't be back to...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO STARS I would. I tried to book a hotel room at this establishment while trying to bring my service dog with me. I called the front desk to see if I could check in a couple hours early and they said yes, but then inquired about my service dog and "what tasks will the service dog be performing?", which is well within the law to ask. I then proceeded to tell them that it is for a PTSD event in my life and my anxieties (i.e. panic attacks) which is more information than I needed to give them under the ADA. They then proceeded to tell me that my dog is not welcome because it is not a service dog.
Well, they are dead wrong because the law states: "The ADA defines Service Animals as the following: Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. A few examples of such work include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties."
They are breaking laws that protect American's with disabilities all because the owner "does not allow it" according to management. This behavior from a business is disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves! I cancelled my reservation and am considering other means for...
