Happy Lemon — Restaurant in Cypress

I recently visited Happy Lemon for the first time, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. As a fan of bubble tea and unique beverage options, I had heard a lot about Happy Lemon and decided to give it a try.

Location & Atmosphere The store I visited was clean, bright, and inviting. The décor was modern and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a casual hangout or a quick pick-me-up. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially considering it was my first time ordering there. They were patient as I asked about different options on the menu and helped me choose something based on my preferences.

Menu & Drink Selection Happy Lemon offers an impressive variety of drinks, from classic bubble teas to more unique options like their signature "Green tea with Salted Cheese" and a variety of fruit teas. The menu can be overwhelming at first glance, but the staff made it easy to understand the different categories, such as milk teas, fruit teas, and slushes.

I ended up ordering the "Green tea with Salted Cheese," which is one of their signature drinks. I was intrigued by the combination of tart lemonade and creamy salted cheese foam. It was absolutely delicious! The balance between the tangy lemonade and the rich, slightly salty foam was surprisingly refreshing, and the texture was smooth and creamy. The drink wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated.

For my second drink, I tried a classic Milk Tea with tapioca pearls. The milk tea had a nice, rich flavor without being too overpowering, and the pearls were chewy and fresh. The tapioca pearls didn’t have that overly sweet or artificial taste that some bubble tea places have, which was a pleasant surprise.

Quality of Ingredients One thing that stood out to me was the quality of the ingredients. The tea was brewed fresh, and it didn’t have that artificial taste you sometimes get from overly sweetened bubble teas. The fruit was also fresh, and you could taste the natural flavors in the beverages.

Service The service was quick, especially considering how popular the place was. I didn't have to wait long for my drinks, and the staff ensured that everything was made to order. They even checked in to make sure I was happy with my drinks, which I really appreciated.

Price The pricing is on par with most other bubble tea places, and I found it to be fair for the quality and portion size. My drinks were around $6–$7 each, which is reasonable given the customization options and unique drinks they offer.

Overall Experience Overall, my experience at Happy Lemon was very positive. The variety of drinks is fantastic, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The salted cheese drinks were definitely the highlight of my visit, but I’ll also be returning to try other items on the menu. I’m docking one star because it was a bit crowded when I went, and finding seating in the store was challenging. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall quality of the drinks.

I would highly recommend Happy Lemon to anyone who loves bubble tea or is looking for something a little different. Whether you're a fan of traditional milk tea or want to try one of their unique creations, Happy Lemon offers something for everyone.

I ordered the A1, a green tea with salted cheese foam with 50% sugar. When the drink was handed to me, it was so unbearably sweet, as if the drink was 150% sugar instead of 50% . There was no other flavor other than cloying sweetness. Completely undrinkable. I go back and ask for the drink to please be remade with no sugar and the lady at the counter very VERY rudely told me that she could not do that "because i touched the drink". Was I supposed to magically know what it would taste like otherwise? This drink was $6.50 right to the trash, I threw it away because there was no saving the drink. It's not like I wanted a new drink, I just wanted to be able to drink something that I ordered. I did not order straight liquid sugar. Do not come here, the tea quality is low, service is VERY EXTREMELY rude, they will mess up your order and then snap at you when they make it wrong. They will not give you what you ordered. The cashier tried to charge me a full price for the drink to be remade (you know to fix their error). No ma'am! No wonder there's not a soul in site...

the bad reviews are right. they are unwelcoming and very awkward. when i came in and walked all the way to the counter, no one said anything so i greeted them and they didn't even have the decent courtesy to say anything back just dead silence. just a weird vibe as i was ordering and while they were making it. i gave 2 stars bc i never experienced them give me something incorrect, and i hope i never will for their sake :D i don't visit super frequently but the times i have, there's an absence of customer service and kindness. these lemons are, in fact, not happy. i'm pretty sure the last time they smiled was when they posted that short video two years ago of the young lady making one of their drinks. so if you don't care about customer service, this is your place!! oh and the teas are also yucky to me, i get the smoothies and slushes but to each...
