We walked in & the sign said, “Please Wait to be Seated”, so we did. We were told, “go choose your seat, I’ll be out there 🚩#1. The host comes to the table and says sorry we’re out of silverware they’re just getting cleaned so it’s going to be a minute, 🚩#2. Another gentleman comes over and asks what we would like to drink, since we’re all sitting in the sun, the umbrellas weren’t out nor up on this beautiful sunny Friday 🚩#3, the waiters did put one up on another table and at that time we moved to another table hoping for more shade, we decided water was best for the time being, my son added an alcoholic beverage. We didn’t sit inside as it was too cold for me, I’m cold sensitive and my kids both said it was nice outside hopefully we can find seating in the shade 🙄.
We received our waters and chips & salsa then we placed our lunch order. The appetizers came out, I requested silverware and was told, “one moment”, we ate the empanadas, they were delicious, I would return for those everyday, but the coleslaw sat, we had no silverware. I had to request napkins 🚩#4, a young lady brought out a dirty paper towel holder, I didn’t say anything, my kids looked at me because they knew the review was coming. About 15 minutes later 2 of our 3 dishes came out and the food looked delicious. Shortly after the 3rd dish came out and I requested silverware, again and was told, one moment again. We were finally brought out a fork after waiting another 5 minutes, and we were now able to eat. 4 waiters & a host for 3 forks & napkins?
I will only speak on what I ordered, cornmeal catfish or whatever it was. It was a hard pass. I will not be back, I’ll make my own empanadas. Oh, my son finally received his beverage, he was more than halfway done with his pasta when the drink with the...
Read moreI called in our $84 order and was told 20-25 minutes but in reality it took 50! I completely understand it was Easter and y’all were busy but how do you underestimate by that much time? At the 40 minute mark I called for an update because my kids were getting impatient and was told “sorry we are just really busy because it’s Easter Sunday”. I asked her to check the status and she just apologized again and hung up. A couple minutes later someone brings a bag of food and luckily I checked it because it was only part of our order. We were missing 10 pounds of crawfish with mushrooms. I told him and he said oh and left, without communicating anything to me. I asked another employee that I saw a couple minutes later by the car next to me to check on it because I was worried about the quality of the food that was now sitting in my car while still waiting on more food. She seemed annoyed with my concern and said it will be fine we are just waiting on your crawfish. About five minutes later she brings our 10 pounds of crawfish but with the mushrooms missing from one of the bags. She took off before I could tell her and by that time I was so annoyed so I just left. So of course by the time I get home my husband‘s coleslaw is hot and his french fries are soggy because of how long it took. Our curbside experience was terrible, we waited double the time that they said, were only given half our order at first, and still didn’t get the complete order that we paid for! Then had bad quality food when we got home. I think the curbside system needs improvement big time and better...
Read moreEdit: We've since contacted BBs customer service and they seem to have taken care of the issue. We went back to the location and it was moderately busy, but it still took the waiter forever to acknowledge us.
Go to a different BB's. It's truly a great restaurant. This one just happens to be awful. We've been to 3 other BBs locations in Houston, and each other time it has proven to be one of my favorite restaurants. This location is an exception.
We have ordered the Tex-Cajun fries on many occasions. It's typically a mountain of fries topped with cheese, gravy, and pot roast. Delicious. We ordered it last night, however, and it was a small plate of fries with cheese on one side and gravy on the other. We mentioned it to the waiter and he said that he saw that it wasn't as much as usual, but the cook said to take it to us anyway... WHAT? He told the manager about it and we were comped another Tex Cajun fries order. This order came and it was somehow worse than the first. This time, no beef, no gravy, just cheese. (the picture attached to the review). We've been here before and they were up front about being out of the supplies to make the fries with no problem.
The worst part is the cook. He/she decided that even though the meal should be prepared a certain way, it was OK to short-change us on the off-chance that we wouldn't complain. Disgusting behavior. And to bring us another, worse product after that makes me think this is going to be repeat behavior at...
