Stop by Lunch on Limoges located in the heart of Downtown Dade City, FL and say hello to our newest residents… Quinn & Stew!

We had gone there for brunch the Saturday before Mothers Day (as they are closed on Sunday), and the food and service were incredible. But I saw on the menu they had made-from-scratch corned beef hash that I simply had to try, so when Fathers Day rolled around we headed back! And I am so very glad we did. The service was as incredible as before (Megan and Beverly took excellent care of us), and the food was beyond belief. My son got a waffle and some bacon, my wife got the Cristo Cracker breakfast sandwich (their version of a Monte Cristo), and I got the Cowboy Classic with the corned beef hash, two eggs (perfectly over easy) and a grilled biscuit. We also split a cinnamon roll and an order of sausage gravy and biscuits for the table. (the cinnamon roll disappeared before I could get a picture!) Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing, and that corned beef hash was the absolute best I've had that I can remember. I usually don't order it in restaurants because it ends up being that canned junk, but there was definitely "NO CAN IN SIGHT" (as the menu claims for that item). I don't know if the comments I added as captions for the pictures got saved or not, but I'll just simply say that this place gets my highest recommendation and we will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back.

Amazing service with delicious food. An Original Floridian Restaurant. We got there 5 minutes before closing and they greeted us with their refreshing raspberry tea which is only $2.50 and they keep refilling it over and over and delicious mini muffins which are complimentary of the house. My husband had a crabmeat and corn chowder and the Chicken Marsala with a side of cabbage casserole which both were delicious and I had the Pasta Venezia with shrimps, crabmeat, asparagus, petit pois in a wine sauce, it was amazing plus they gave me a side of fresh fruit. We didn’t have space for dessert but their cakes are to die for. If you have not tried Lunch on Limoges you’re missing a great experience. It’s been in Dade City since 1981, they have new menu and now they’re open for breakfast since 8:00 am and they have breakfast all day till they close at 2:30 pm. They’re open 8:00 am to 2:30 pm from Tuesday to Saturday.

Been wanting to eat here forever. Sadly I have to say I was disappointed. We had reservations for a party of 7. Started out great, server was attentive and the mini muffins were very good. 6 of the party ordered hot meals, I ordered a chicken salad croissant. 5 meals came out together, then the other 2 were forgotten about, mine being one of them. When the server finally came back around, we asked what about the other 2 meals? It was like they had forgotten about them. The server asked what meals we had ordered, and we told her. The rest of the party felt uncomfortable feeling guilty to eat while we had no food. I assured them it was alright to eat. When it finally arrived, it is served with broccoli and swiss cheese on top of the chicken salad. Kind of odd, but the menu did state it was served this way and toasted. Well it may had been toasted at some point, but was ice cold by the time I was served. Trust me cold congeled swiss cheese and room temperature broccoli on top of chicken salad doesn't work and I love broccoli. I scraped the broccoli and cheese off the sandwich because it was horrible ice cold. The bottom of the croissant was hard and I had difficulty even cutting it with a knife. I finally gave up, and just picked out the chicken salad with a fork and ate only the chicken salad. Chicken salad was not too bad. It was served with a scoop of potato salad. Normally I love potato salad, but this was extreme with dill pickle. Just felt it didn't work for me. My glass of tea was almost empty when my food arrived, .Server said she would be back with tea. That never happened until we were done eating. Not once were we asked if everything was alright or if we needed anything. Disappointing. I had eaten less than half of my plate. It was obvious I had scraped all the broccoli and cold cheese off and not eaten the croissant or potato salad. I was never asked if anything was wrong with my food. Disappointing. I then went to pay the bill. I was finally asked how everything was. I answered honestly. The cashier really didn't want to know. I also told her about the huge amount of time it took to get the last 2 meals and how uncomfortable that was for the people who's food had been served much earlier. I said what I really didn't get was that mine was a cold sandwich and they had hot plates. The response was, well that must be the way the food came out. Again, no one cared. Disappointing. You may by now notice a theme, disappointing. Based upon my visit today, this will be my first and last visit. I realize it has new ownership, but they should just change the name and not tarnish the once proud heritage it once had. Others in my party had similar disappointment with their meals verses previous meals that had eaten there before the ownership change, but I will not...

Warning! Long review ahead. I dont leave reviews often...but when I do they are lengthy, heartfelt and always positive. So just a heads-up ;) Had our first breakfast here today. We go out with our work family, often, for breakfasts together. We are restaurant owners and can be a bit particular, so we look for places we can trust to consistently be clean, welcoming and with good food to enjoy. FCLOL is all these things. We also tend to frequent places we have a nostalgiac attachment to. Having worked here as a server in the late 90's, I have a lot of memories in this place. It became a tradition, between my 2 eldest children and I, for me to bring them their own little bag of fresh fruit muffins home to enjoy after my shift. A tradition that, thankfully can continue with my youngest 2 to this day. The muffins, as well as the Pecan Chicken, Quiche and Desserts were favorites of mine while working here, and continued to be well after I left and became a patron. When I heard Lunch on Limoges was changing hands, I, like others, wondered what that'd look like. It was a relief to see that, though the Florida Cracker has its own personality as a buisness and brand, it didn't cast too big a shadow over this much-beloved, local place. Rather, it balanced everything quite nicely. There is no mistaking that Florida Cracker is on the scene, but thankfully they retained the heart of the menu I remember from back in the day, and managed to blend these two restaurant concepts together in a uniquely, special way. Best of all, besides them still serving the muffins we love so much and other favorites, they've retained a true treasure in Mrs. Brenda. All the FCLOL staff are great and do a great job, as one would expect of any Florida Cracker establishment, but a visit to this building just isn't the same without us seeing our favorite Mrs. Brenda :) She is warm, welcoming, sassy and an ageless beauty that always makes us feel at home. She's a phenomenal server who tends to every detail and is just such a joy. As people who cook and serve in a restaurant for a living, it always means a lot to find places that we can truly enjoy being at with people, like Mrs. Brenda- and let me not forget Mrs. Wanda, too, who care about who they work for and care about their customers the way they do. Florida Cracker has done this place justice! We are happy to have another, great breakfast option so close to home. Our whole crew had a great time and will be back...

If I could rate no stars I would. Total time spent here was roughly a little over an hour. So I went to Lunch On Limoges as it was highly recommended to my wife and I. We stopped by for lunch and had to wait roughly 20 minutes to be seated. After waiting we were seated by a gentlemen and had to wait another 15 minutes at our table before anyone introduced themselves and offered any drinks. Drink choices are very very lackluster as your only choices are water, iced tea, raspberry tea, and espresso. So we tried the raspberry tea which tasted very bland. We were also given a complimentary basket of muffins which were actually pretty good. Our waiter took our order and then we never heard from him again literally the rest of the time we were there. My wife and I ordered the Pecan Chicken and Pecan Grouper. As far as sides you are only able to get the two daily sides that are offered. So choices here as far as food is very specific, but lackluster on the sides. So after waiting roughly 18 minutes for our food and wanting some more muffins while waiting. We tried our food and the grouper was overcooked and so was the chicken. The portions are not filling as we finished and was still hungry. These two small portion dishes and two teas cost $37. I felt it was overpriced for the portions we were offered. Also the SERVICE was possibly the worse service I have ever had at a restaurant. So while we were sitting their waiting 10 more minutes for our bill. Our waiter randomly walks past another couple that was next to us and offered them more muffins. They were there maybe 5 minutes. So my wife and I noticed something. We were the only younger couple in the restaurant and the only non-white couple. This is the first time in my entire life I have ever felt racially profiled at a restaurant. Needless to say I WILL never come back to this place or ever recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. We waisted over an hour of our time to have such a...
