This was a nice family owned bbq place. The workers were extremely friendly. I ordered a chopped sandwich with a side of potato salad, and I thought the potato salad was very good. The sandwich had so much meat on it that I took part of it home and had another sandwich the next day. My husband ordered a two meat plate Ribs & Brisket with a baked potato. The ribs were excellent. The brisket was decent. The barbecue sauce had a good flavor to it. We didn’t get a detailed receipt for the order, which was our mistake because I believe that we were overcharged. My husband asked if he could substitute the baked potato for the two sides for an additional charge, but we believe that they charged us for the two meat plate and charged for a baked potato or they weighed the meat and charged us up per pound, and then charged us for a baked potato. Either way I felt that it was a bit pricey. The bill came to about $43 for the two of us for lunch which didn’t seem right I asked for a receipt, but it wasn’t detailed. It was just a credit card receipt. We talked about it at the table and decided to just let it go. But shame on us we should have asked how they got to $43, next time I would definitely want an itemized receipt on what we were...

I recently purchased a 1/2 lb pulled pork. When I got home and went to make a sandwich, the meat was in big chunks, dry and gray. It’s usually pink, moist and in small strings. I thought they accidentally gave me beef, I tried it and it had no taste and was tough. I have a swallowing issue so it is very difficult for me to swallow beef.

I called and returned it to exchange for pulled pork. At the drive thru when handing me the pulled pork, a gentleman came over and told me the other was pulled pork and looked exactly the same. He said he didn’t understand why I was exchanging it and laughed at me. I opened the new one and it looked like pulled pork, nothing like the other one. It is delicious however due to the fact the man had to make me feel stupid or wrong, I will not go back. It was rude and completely unnecessary.

I get their bbq exclusively but will find another place or just make my own from now on. I have referred countless people to their place but will not in the future. Treat people like you would want them to treat your mother!!! Don’t try to belittle them to detract from...

Subject: Unacceptable Hidden Credit Card Fee

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency regarding hidden fees at this location. I made a purchase totaling approximately $76, yet after reviewing my receipt, I discovered I was charged over $90. Upon questioning the discrepancy, I was told that an additional percentage is added for using a credit card.

At no point was this fee disclosed prior to payment. There were no visible signs, nor was I verbally informed. This type of hidden charge is misleading and entirely unprofessional. Customers have every right to know in advance if additional fees will be applied based on their payment method.

As a business, it is your responsibility to clearly and prominently display this policy before a transaction occurs. Not doing so reflects poorly on your commitment to fair customer service.

Will I return? Absolutely not. The combination of poor communication, lack of transparency, and unsatisfactory customer service is a deal breaker. I strongly urge you to correct this practice for...
