Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

If there was a negative star this establishment would receive it, walks in greeted and seated by a greeter waited 10 minutes for the server to approach us and ask for our drink order waited another five minutes still no drinks we ask for the manager she was very unprofessional, dressed sloppy and says I will speak with him by now I am ready to for my niece to help me out of this place, (follow your first mine) my niece convinces me to stay then the server brings us our food , and she and I both look at each other still no drinks he apologize then brings them to us wow really after finishing our meal he brings us our tab, we give him two printed out gift cards and my credit card and it takes this guy over 10 minutes trying to figured out how to use the gift cards by now my niece is levied after getting our tab he gives me another customer's card after the customer and I both realized this mistake she approached our table and we exchanged cards right in front of server still no apology for his mistake, I made sure this was my correct tab which it was I signed it and we left, next day I check my statement online low and behold I was charged for my tab totaling $10.96 and the customer which was given the wrong card totaling $92.72 I immediately called my niece enraged she gave me corporate phone number I called corporate on conference call with a manger that answered the phone from the restaurant but would never introduced himself on the call and refused to give me the managers name that we spoke to the night before he acted real arrogant until David from corporate intervene then he became humble. So I visited this Applebee's with a large group and I loved the service so I made this Applebees my go to location. What a mistake, so I go three weeks ago taking my aunt out to eat we was seated quickly and greeted by our server in a fair amount of time. Our server was name Simone she was awesome by the way I looooveeeed her. We place our order which I believe we all ordered Bacon Burgers well done. When receiving our order all our burgers was rare. Manager came over sent one back my husband decided he didn't want one since his first one came out late and he had done ate 4 side salads waiting on it. When receiving our tickets it was 75.00 dollars for 4 people one burger was taken off the other was discounted and our appetizer was suppose to been taken off since it was no good. Now something went wrong on that ticket for sure, after two tries the manager gets it right. We leave my husband calls back cause after that many problems the manger should of did way more that discount a burger. Ok we get a credit, we decide to take our kids to get something to eat at that location. We was seated quickly and the server name was Samantha I believe no customer service skills at all. We order appetizers got two but my husband salad was never delivered. We all order burgers again well done and we emphasized well done. Yet we get rare burgers again we tell the manger to come to the table he was the kitchen manager he was very nice. Let me begin by saying I never give a place a flat out bad review because i try to remain optimistic but I had to give this place the horrid credit it deserved. Horrible and I do mean HORRIBLE place. I would give it zero stars if I could. It comes off as absolutely ghetto first of all but even then I could've ignored that if it wasn't for the other issues this place had. First off the server was rather rude and inattentive. We ordered bbq wings as an appetizer and the wings were warm while the bbq sauce was cold! Then we waited almost twenty-five to thirty minutes for a drink refill and waited even longer for our order to even be taken. When we finally ordered, I ordered a plate that was supposed to have steak with cheese on top and covered in grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes, and some veggies on the side. but I asked for chicken in place of the steak and a couple more shrimp. NO cheese and NO veggies which was supposed to come out cheaper being that I chose the chicken INSTEAD. And after I finished my meal the stupid sad excuse of a waiter wanted to tell me that the plates were going to be charged the same regardless which was horseshit when there was less on my plate than the original order. I honestly wanted to walk out without paying. I should've too. If it wasn't for my boyfriend telling me let's just pay the bill and go, I would've walked right out.
