Best Concha I've ever eaten in Mexico or USA. Honestly, I didn't order one bc I don't care for them. Luckily my friend did and I finally see what all the fuss is about. Best Birote I've found in DFW, and I've been looking for a while. I disagree with others on the calabaza/pumpkin stuffed bread in that they felt it should have more filling, filling prevents bread from rising and cooking properly. This one was delicious and baked perfectly (also the filling creates a cavity that will always make it look unfilled). We tried a couple of other items that were good, but didn't hold a candle to the 3 mentioned.

DELICIOUS! TASTE AUTHENTIC!! I drove 30 minutes from my house to visit this place and let me tell you, it is worth the drive. AND I WOULD GO BACK AGAIN! This place offers authentic Mexican-style bread. The bakery does not accept other payments aside from cash, so just a heads up if you are looking at reviews and weighing out your options. I hope this helps! PS: YOU KNOW THIS PLACE IS BUSSIN JUST BY LOOKING AT THE MISSPELLED NAME "THE AZTECA BACKERY" AS SOON AS YOU PULL UP LOL - Go try them out and support a local business!

Favorite panaderia, go early if you want hot and fresh bread. Otherwise the bread is still good! They only accept payment via Zelle or Cash. They have a great variety :) Note they are closed on Tuesdays

The bread is as close as you're gonna get to authentic Mexican around these parts. While the selection is a bit limited, possibly due to floor space, every item is a hit. The conchas are just heaven when fresh. Bolillos, one of the more humble staples in Mexican bread, are also as perfect as you can find in Dallas County. However, it is also my only sticking point with this place. They never have enough bolillos. I posit they only make enough per day so they hold the rest. They do have more in the back. I know because I have seen some bread magically appear for some of my more aesthetically gifted companions, if you catch my drift 😂 However, if your face could stop a Mack truck, then try to time the release of the fresh stuff. Nothing like fresh bread to get you...

This bakery used to be one of my favorite ones but lately I think the owner is cutting back on bread size quality variety and the size is been reduced as well quality it was going on the perfect road but lately as said before. fillings, sizes and quality is going dramatically down he’s probably concern with the cost and now it’s prices are going up and besides he looks he doesn’t want to spend on a single plastic bag which should be included in the cost of production I was going from Irving exclusively to buy the bread to this bakery but now that’ll be a second thought on my list if u want to try a different bakery and been in business for long time try Ana Karen bakery they don’t hesitate in the importance of quality,...

My search for some good authentic Mexican conchas has finally ended!! I lived in Grand Prairie for 3yrs and they have one panaderia that left me longing the sweet taste of authentic Mexican conchas. Moving back to Garland, I found nothing that compared to them...until now. Their conchas are everything you've missed from Mexico. They're just the right amount of fluffy and savory and the topping is just perfect- not too much, not too little and perfect amount of sweetness. Haven't been there personally but my husband said the staff is polite and pleasant. For those who complain about them running out of bread early, what do you expect? It's a bakery. No different than donut shops who run out by...
