Bagel Art, located in the Dallas Shopping Center, is a small eatery where customers can enjoy a variety of bagels, bagel sandwiches, bagel toppings, soups, sweet treats, and more.
I arrived shortly before 2 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. The place was moderately occupied, with a couple of tables available. I walked up to the counter to have a look at the menu hanging on the wall. Since the establishment closes at 3 p.m., the selection of bagels were a bit lacking, so I ordered a ham and egg sandwich on a toasted sesame seed bagel, and a Coke. In about 7 - 10 minutes, I was sitting at a table near the window, unwrapping the sandwich from its foil.
The sandwich was sufficient. Unlike an Egg McMuffin from McDonald's, there was plenty of ham and egg, and they were stacked neatly between the bagel slices.
Bagel Art also offers sandwiches such as ham and cheese, roast beef, roast turkey, Italian, chicken salad, and other selections. Toppings include a selection of flavored cream cheese (including Oreo!) butter, honey, lox, etc. Desserts include such staples as brownies and cookies.
The bagels aren't particularly large, but with a fairly large selection, it would be nice to return to try other flavors when I bring an empty stomach.
Bagel Art isn't flashy. The atmosphere and decor is a bit utilitarian. However, if you just want to enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch, I would recommend Bagel Art over your typical fast food...
Read moreVery loyal customers until today. Called to place a takeout order and the girl taking my order rushed me off the phone. My girlfriend went to pick the food up and was met with very unfriendly staff. We get home and surprise our order is wrong. I call back, again I speak to the same girl who has a huge attitude on the phone with me stating “she made the order”. I ask them to remake it. I go into to get the new food and her and her coworkers are complaining about me, unaware i’m the customer with the wrong order. She walks over I tell her that’s my food because the bag says my name and remake on it. She rips the old food out of my hand, rolls her eyes and walks away.
Very disappointing considering I’ve been eating there almost weekly for a long time. Everyone has bad days but taking it out on a customer who you incorrectly made an...
Read moreI love Bagel Art so much, it’s always been my go to for Bagels in PA. I went in June 29th in the afternoon. The staff was friendly like always— except for one younger girl working. I believe her name is Lexie. She was really hostile towards me and made my experience at Bagel Art really difficult this visit. The girl not only ignored me, but when she was finished making my sandwich, she practically threw it towards me.
This experience really left a negative taste in my mouth as I love coming here and supporting a small business.
I hope that this employee works on their kindness in the future so other customers can enjoy their experience and not leave Bagel Art with a negative...
