Inspired by Netflix’s hit series Culinary Class Wars, I decided to try authentic Korean food for the first time—and I was not disappointed as I discovered a local Korean restaurant celebrated for its incredible flavors and rave reviews, making it the perfect spot for newcomers to Korean cuisine; the friendly staff immediately understood my beginner status and recommended a tasting menu featuring a variety of must-try dishes, starting with fried dumplings that were uniquely crispy and bursting with flavor, followed by Tteokbokki with its chewy rice cakes and a perfectly balanced spicy, subtly sweet seafood sauce that amazed me with its texture and depth of flavor, then Gimbap, which, although reminiscent of sushi, offered a distinctly different and refreshing taste, and later a Short Rib and Japchae Combo where the tender, melt-in-your-mouth short rib was paired with crystal noodles and a delicious egg with rice that provided a satisfying mix of textures and flavors, and finally the Myeolchi Kalguksu, featuring handmade fresh noodles in a soup with a gentle seafood flavor that rounded out the meal with a comforting finish; despite the plaza’s somewhat run-down exterior, the authentic flavors and overall quality of the food make this restaurant a top recommendation for anyone looking to explore Korean cuisine and experience a genuine...
Read moreWorst customer service ever. I expected more from this restaurant especially since I myself am a manager at a restaurant and know how customer service should be. We walked in and it took a while for the hostess to even acknowledge us. Once we were seated she took a while to get to our table which we understood being as she was the only hostess and server there. She came around to take our order and she was very pleasant and nice but then she came back saying they didn’t have what I ordered and said that the chicken wasn’t fresh which is something no customer wants to hear. Second time she came around to see what we wanted instead. I imagined she would ask if we wanted anything besides that but instead she came back saying they were out of the second order as well and saying they were basically out of everything. She did hang gestures signaling and “x” as if there we’re nothing on the menu. That’s not possible, you're a restaurant for goodness sake you cannot be out of everything on the menu. She then directed us to another restaurant. In conclusion they kicked us out. I don’t know if it was racial discrimination but it’s not possible that you were out of everything. We had to leave immedialey. Would not recommend this place at all. Go around the corner, there are many other great places aside...

When i walked in i didn't get greeted. Nobody acknowledged me. Thats cool. My buddy and I grab some menus and sit our selves. Cool. Nobody comes up to us. "Do we have to go to the counter and order there?" So we do that. We ordered, I asked if the had coconut water, and she pointed at the water station across the room. Ok, I'll get my own regular water. Cool. I paid, i tipped 👍 Food comes out. Delicious! Made my soul happy.
I needed napkins. I looked around and nobody is around. I walk up to the water to see if theres napkins there. Nothing. I go to the counter to see if theres napkins there. Nothing. Somebody comes out from the back and just looks at me. "Do yall have napkins?" And without saying anything walks behind the counter, grabs bev naps, and without looking at me whats so ever, she threw the napkins on the counter instead of handing it to me. Not cool. Thats when i decided i was going to write this review.
And they have the audacity to have signs around the restaurant that says we have to bus our own tables lol why even open a restaurant if you dont do...
