The Cuban invasion has officially hit North Texas, and it's serving up authenticity like never before. This isn't just any Cuban restaurant—this is the real deal, with every single person in the kitchen, including the dishwasher, hailing straight from Cuba.
From the moment you step in, the sounds of Cuban musicians like Paquito D'Rivera (Hailed as Cubas Bob Dillan), the legend Celia Cruz and the likes of Cucu Diamantes, with the aroma of traditional Cuban dishes fills the air, transporting you directly to the heart of Santa Clara. The menu is a showcase of Cuban culinary heritage, featuring mouth-watering tostones, hearty picadillo, crispy croquetas, and flavorful con gris. Don't miss the arropa vieja, a classic that stands out with its rich, savory taste. Even down to the grumpy lady who greeted me at the door reminded me so much of little Havana.

No ice tea available and no refill on drinks as they sell by the can. Food was so so, not bad but nothing special. Waitress told me they were going to start opening at 7:00am for breakfast so I decided to try they again at 11:30am. Walked in and no one it sight and after waiting around 10 minutes I started to leave when a lady came out of the kitchen and saw me. I asked if they were open and she asked me what I needed and said I wanted to eat lunch and said what would you like. I wanted a table, service and food!!! I said never mind and walked out. I’m finished with this place....

A simple Google search would have told them what goes in a Cuban sandwich. Even Panera made it better when they had it on their menu.
A Cuban sandwich must have : ham, roast pork leg, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, pressed on a flat iron press and not a grooved panini press. NO mayonnaise !
Needless to say I won't be going back to try their other dishes, something I was planning to do before I had this...
