We have been coming here for a long time as a family and the food has always been great, we love the big variety of seafood… but today we really had a bad experience that is making us consider wanting to return.

Before I go on, I am understanding of the circumstances today for many people including the staff who work here regarding the storms across DFW and know that it is possible that we are all probably a bit tense and prone to more aggression.

Either way I still am a paying customer and think that we deserve a bit more of a welcoming atmosphere.

Today our home was a part of the many outages and without access to our electrical cooking appliances we thought it was a good idea to get out of the hot house for a while for dinner although money is a little tight we still had to feed our 2 daughters and fit it into our budget, how else? No fridge, no stove, no boiler…

anyways we came and agreed we would not ask for seconds on drinks as it is what we tip our waiter mostly for, as the food service is self serve. Anyways it came time to pay and my husband handed over his card and walked out with the 2 girls because one had had a blow out diaper and we were not trying to disturb the comfort for others in the presence of their food.

As you can imagine, I was in a hurry to get out. The waiter returns I sign and she tells me no that is your copy and so I signed the other, she points at the tip demanding I sign for one… I told her “I’m sorry we will not be leaving one today, next time for sure double” and she starts, what I can only assume cursing me in a language I cannot understand, but I am apt enough to understand that she was not being kind.

I ended up just leaving because I felt as a loyal customer I was not being treated with respect or understanding and was honestly hurt…as I’m walking out I see 3 male employees coming down hard on a male customer about ordering water but drinking otherwise, the customer is stating that he has money to please take it but not to disrespect him as a customer and human… like I said I understand stress and angst but, come on we paid our bill in full and always do leave a tip, our circumstances again left us in an abnormal situation which instead of making us feel like an honored customer safe to come here, we left feeling quite the opposite. It is disappointing… as it was my favorite place to eat if anyone ever asked.

I know times are tough but I also know customer service goes a long way, and that this restaurant is in urgent need of customer facing training and de-escalation experience which would work in their favor greatly.

Also, maybe it is just different times but I’ve never been demanded a tip unless it was as part of the gratuity which is 9 times out of 10 part of your final bill.

Either way my experience was poor and would urge caution in considering them amongst other options for your next dine-in...

Hidden Gem on Technology Blvd – Worth the Visit!

Don’t let the unassuming parking lot fool you—King Buffet is a culinary surprise that far exceeds expectations. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a spacious, immaculately clean dining area with inviting decor that balances modern touches and warm ambiance.

The food selection is absolutely stellar. From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by the incredible variety. The fresh sushi station rivals that of high-end restaurants, with expertly prepared rolls and sashimi that are both artful and delicious. The steamed dumpling bar is a must-visit, offering pillowy-soft dumplings packed with savory fillings. And the custom Mongolian wok station lets you build your own flavor adventure with fresh vegetables, proteins, and sauces cooked to perfection right before your eyes.

The rest of the buffet is equally impressive, offering everything from traditional Chinese favorites to American comfort foods, seafood, and a decadent dessert section. Every item is well-prepared and kept hot, fresh, and replenished frequently.

Customer service is top-notch—staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in their work. You’re never left waiting long for a drink refill or plate clearance, and everyone greets you with a genuine smile.

Yes, the parking lot could use a facelift, but don’t let that keep you from walking through the front doors. What awaits inside is a clean, well-run, and downright delicious experience that easily makes King Buffet one of the best all-you-can-eat options in Dallas.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend for families, large groups, or anyone craving a high-quality buffet with...

Good place to try wide range of veg and non veg dishes, drinks are costly say lemonade would easily cost you 3$ including taxes but its optional. You will get a chance to pick up raw foods like meats, Fish and Sea Foods chef's will prepare your required dish for you. You can also try Sushi (A japanese dish) Wide range of Deserts, Ice creams and Soups. But overall its good people can try once in 3 months. I thoroughly enjoyed Fried shrimp pepper and garlic and also Crab fry. Check detail is as shown below: Buffet: 14.99 (Saturday and Sunday) Drink: 2.49$ Total including tax: 18.92$ Note1: Better to try during weekdays because it costs 10 to 11$ somehow cheap. Note2: Bill is attached for more clarity on tax + food costs Covid Best practice should be followed strictly because the crowd is too much just be careful, try to get out once done. Plan your dishes before landing it to the plates and do not load lots of dishes because majority of the people end up by wasting it. I personally don't like to waste food because there are so many people dying due to hunger.

I feel so disrespected! burnt chicken! you can smell the burn soon as you open the container, my eyes were in disbelief & my heart just dropped! I had to stare at it for a minute to let it set in (CAN'T EVEN EAT IT)! it looks like the chicken pieces that be left in the grease at the bottom of the pan! the House Fried Rice taste like cardboard like it came out a frozen bag, ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! it's just white rice (LOOK AT THE PICTURES!) we asked for sweet & sour sauce for our crab lagoon was told they didn't have any... WHAT?! asked for soy sauce told it was in the bag, got home not even one package of soy sauce, drove 15 mins in traffic for dinner & they gave us garbage 🤬 I WANT MY MONEY BACK! IS IT BECAUSE WE'RE BLACK!? 🤔 ain't no way you guys thought this was ok to serve to someone! they literally gave us food a dog wouldn't eat! I'll NEVER go back AFTER I take them their garbage back which is I'm sure what they want (see pictures) I feel so disrespected like a kicked dog, like they spit in our face! 🤬 $33.00 dollars for garbage 🤬
