La Salsa Verde Taquería — Restaurant in Dallas

Highly disappointed in the customer service my husband and I received yesterday 5/17/22. My husband was on lunch break so I placed our order over the phone which I was told that it'd be 10 mins for my order to be ready for pick up. Well I waited about 35 mins and when I went inside the restaurant I was in the pick up line with one customer ahead of me; after that customer was served the cashier and other girl behind the counter didn't acknowledge me or didn't even attempt to help me they left the pick up area to go pass out orders and make themselves busy and ignored that I was standing there waiting for my order which was already delayed by this time it was already 12:45 and I still wasn't served until I called for management and the manager was worse he didn't apologize or fix the problem he stated that instead of waiting in the pick up area for my PICK UP ORDER that I could have stood in the ordering line to grab my order. My family and I order food from here all the time which is why I'm completely disappointed on the way we were treated and unappreciated. Completely unprofessional manager and cashier. I'll just have to drive all the way to EAST DALLAS to get good food with great customer service. I have seen the reviews for this place and the owner seems as if they're only interested in the positive reviews because all the negative reviews didn't receive a reply from the owner and that says ALOT. Placed an order online for this store but I meant to place it at a different store. I called right away and spoke to a cashier which then let me speak to manager. The manager said his name is Patrick. He was rude and condescending. I have never been treated the way he did. I couldn’t believe the way he was talking to me. He told me he couldn’t refund my money because it was my fault, and that they had already made it. I placed the order at 5:22 and I called at 5:23 as soon as I realized the address was wrong. I have screenshots of the time of the call and the time I placed the order. I told him since he couldn’t refund me if he could give me a different number, so that someone else can help me with this issue. He stated that he was the “highest there” and that he was a supervisor. If that’s the type of example he is giving to the employees then I feel bad for them. The way he treats customers is very unprofessional and I would like for someone to contact me for more details of the way he was speaking to me. I have worked with customer service before and this is unacceptable. After being on the phone with him being unprofessional and rude for 15 minutes he said I’ll get a refund at midnight. If he could have done it in but kept arguing about it on the phone. First I would like to say that I’ve been coming to salsa verde for the past 3 years or so even before they moved to this location, they used to have the little place about a block away. The food is good but I just went here yesterday April 28, I was picking up a mobile order which btw I will never use since it looks like this place is clearly not ready or able to properly serve properly yet, not only do they give it less priority, they gave away part of my order to other orders, food was suppose to be ready in 15 min but instead took like 35 or 40 min. Which ok simple mistake right maybe it will never happen again. But while I was waiting for food I was able to notice something which is of high concern for all people that go here unless you don’t mind people making and preparing your food touching it with their bare hands! And it’s not just one or two employees it’s almost all of them! It’s not that they don’t have gloves available because there was only one employee that I saw wearing gloves maybe that employee brings his own from home? Lol seriously next time your in this place take a look and you will notice that the employees here cook/ prepare your food with no gloves.
