I went for lunch jhere and ordered a large lemonade on a plastic cup I get a medium cup the size of McDonald’s n full of ice.. ordered quesabieia tacos.. tacos looked stale n old and I tasted the consomé and tasted like water, only flavor I guess was the garbanzos cause that consomé even coworker was like what is that watered down consomé.. I told the girl working there what I thought n how I tasted the watered consomé and she got an ugly attitude and responded very rude, quesabiria tacos all come with consomé.. I said ofcourse but I didn’t ask that im telling u how they taste not if they come with it…. My coworker ordered flautas n should’ve taken a picture but the chicken coming out the flautas was more fried than the tortillas. The rice was old aswell as the beans n no taste whatsoever.. and then I guess because they did not charge me the quesabiria tacos cause I didn’t eat them but did ask for one more basket of chips they charged us the chips $2 dlrs and my lemonade 5.50 like ok.. Guess they knew it was my last day going there… No pride in making their food nor any type of respect for clients when they see o a client tells them what they feel… but than I guess this is why this place...
Read moreOne of the only places that make authentic goat birria in Dallas. It started in a small plaza space located in North Dallas with an outside attachment to accommodate for the amount of customers coming in. Since then, they have bought out the restaurant space next to them and have expanded. Remodeling is taking place and it looks so much nicer!
The Consomé with Goat meat is my number one recommendation from this restaurant. Their consomé is savory and they are very generous with their serving of goat/beef in the dish. This is the perfect “get well” stew. Whether it be a common cold or a massive hangover. This will help alleviate it all! So DELICIOUS! I recommend pairing the Consomé with a side of two fajita tacos con tortilla de harina (flour tortilla).
Next, I tried their version of the trendy Quesabirria Tacos. Let me start by saying I am not a fan of this style of taco in general… It’s a personal preference but I would definitely recommend people to come try that style of taco at Birrieria Aguinaga. The Quesabirria taco at this location is actually really good.
Overall, this place is a 5 out 5 recommend for the authenticity and taste of their food. Get yourself some Consomé...
Read moreWhen we walked into Birrieria Aguinaga, I was expecting a typical taqueria. Small, medium on the service side, sort of clean, limited atmosphere, but still good food. All of my expectations were way short. Several friendly greetings at the door, clean entry and sat quickly, server was to us almost immediately. Greeting us quickly and getting our drink order together. Returned fast with salsas and toasted corn, whole tortillas. Kind of break-off and make your own size chips for dipping. Very nice. Our Server asked us what we would like to eat and volunteered to explain and answer any questions we had. We told her we were torn between 2 items but we decided to share a huge fajita plate. Without asking, and after she gave our food order to the kitchen, she returned to the table with a couple of plates with a small portion of the menu item we did not order. This gave us a chance to see what we were missing and what we could expect on our next visit. A great touch! If you’re only interested in food…it was killer and going to make it a point to return regularly. I’m mean like…weekly 😋. Thank you for the great food, the hospitality and very memorable experience...
