My Favorite Local Spot!

This place is hands-down my favorite bar and pub in town. What keeps me coming back isn’t just the great drinks or laid-back vibe — it’s the people. Every time I walk in, I end up meeting someone new from a different walk of life. There’s a real sense of community here, and it’s one of the few spots where diversity isn’t just welcomed, it’s celebrated.

The pool tournaments are always a blast — fun, friendly competition with regulars and newcomers alike. And the live music? Incredible. They feature some of the coolest cover bands playing everything from classic 70s rock to today’s hits. Holding at a 1 STAR til I attempt this place again. Came in to eat and have a few drinks, but immediately walked in the door and felt unwelcome. Everyone in the bar whipped around and stared at me and my guest...but nobody said 2 words to us. I had to walk up to the bar and ask if the kitchen was open and was told, "NO", which was around 8:30pm when hours of operation are listed til 2am. We decided not to stay due to this as we wanted both food and beverages. If I want the dive bar scene with friendly staff, I will continue to go to "Scooters" down the road. I went here on a Wednesday night for a new karaoke venue, but have been going here for many years for food specials they offered and karaoke! They have had a pretty decent menu for a bar and grill, and we always liked their Thursday special of smothered pork chops with sides, but due to the Covid-19 restrictions, they had to downsize their menu temporarily! They did have live band entertainment most weekends, but not sure about that now since the coronavirus! They have same restrictions as most restaurants!
