As if my morning couldn't get any worse after picking up my mobile order, as soon as I get to my car it spills all over the floor. So I walk back inside already late for work to purchase another one, cause like I said it was just a I need a coffee to make this day better type of mornings. I'm on this venture of trying new Starbucks drinks every visit, so when I walked it I took the cup to the cashier to tell her "I want another one of these" while waiting on the cashier the whole staff, drive thru and everything greeted me good morning and made sure to assure me that someone will be with me right away (as they were all busy doing 100 things at once). I'm shy so I hate going into a businesses wondering if anyone there noticed me enter, and I don't want to be rude and say "HELLOOOO", but that wasn't this experience AT ALLLLL. So welcoming and attentive everyone was no matter how busy they were. While waiting i'm assuming the barista, noticed I walked back in with my dropped cup (cause no littering) and saw me ordering the same thing. As soon as she did, she told the cashier not to charge me for a new one, and she would replace it. I never expect anything to come free, and or blaming anyone so when i noticed i wasn't being charged it immediately changed my mood. Always thank your barista. I come to this location so very often, and they are always so nice, neat, and fast. But today needed to be notice because it really made my day so much better. Thank you...
Read moreThe food and drinks were starbucks quality, of course. That's why we come here. But I struggle to go places sometimes and having my service animal helps, although she is stil lesrly in her training and struggles to go out almost as much as I do, although in a different way. But we have to do it so I can live my life and she can get used to being in public. We all know pets are not welcome at restaurants, except service animals, right? Right. Well, I had someone ask if my animal was a service animal as soon as I stepped through the door (never been asked by a starbucks employee before but that's okayz understandable.) And then when we got to the register, not a minute later, someone else asked.. and then, I swear by the look on their face they didn't believe me. I had to go back in at one point while eating outside and the same person looked at me again that way. So, here I am, struggling to be out in public at all, just trying to enjoy a meal with my kid, helping me and my service animal get better about public outings, and I no longer feel welcomed at one of the few places I felt most comfortable taking my service animal. I haven't even tried other places yet because of this exact anxiety and yet this is the first starbucks location we've visited the past 2 months that has made me feel this way. If it wasn't illegal, I'm sure that employee would've asked me for the...
Read moreOrdered through the app this morning. Pulled up to the screen said my name. The girl at the window was very rude. A summarization of what I was told will be included. Basically since I used the app i’m suppose to choose drive thru instead of in store. (I was okay with it until this point) then she proceeded to scoldingly tell me that next time if I chose that option i’ll just have to come inside and get my order. I’ve been ordering for years on the app never have I been told to do this, fair. But the attitude I got for something that was an honest mistake is actually crazy. At the end of the day there was only one other car in front of me, no one behind me and i PAID for my order. She doesn’t know my physical conditions, emotional state, etc. Maybe she was having a bad day i’m not sure. It’s just so upsetting because as I mentioned I have been a customer for years and throughout those years it’s been pretty standard and even when my order has been made wrong or i’m told something is out, I accept it because I know how hard it can be for baristas. My suggestion is maybe touch up on the customer service trainings for this location because the verbiage and tone could’ve been better...
